I'm not looking for a popularity contest but I'm sure it will turn into one. Who if you had one race conditions unknown. Tony Stewart comes to mind as a guy that can drive anything. My guy Kenseth is only great under prime conditions...RESTATED!!! Who could take anything and make it go faster than the next guy? Like the Gieco comercail ... Shopping carts, go karts little boats...I just saw the comercail.

I saw a lot of people whining over Tony Stewart not winning the race. I know that if I went to a NASCAR race I would want to be able to see as much of the race as possible, so I am GLAD they did not let the rain stop them. How about you?

With this weekends latest FIA blunder, Ferrari seem very upset and beleive their race was ruined.

Yes, the FIA shouldn't rely on emails.
Yes, they should've noticed that they hadn't had their confirmation from the Scuderia.

But, there's no way on Earth that Ferrari could've kept up with the pace car if they'd stayed on intermediate tyres. They would've had to pit and change the tyres anyway - so did it really make that much difference.

Smoke and Dale Jr. are well known for being among the best draft partners at the superspeedways. They are also best of friends on and off the track. Still, Jr. Nation hates him and I was wondering...

if he's not the one that caused the wreck to begin with. Everytime he causes a wreck he runs off and hides, ie Dale Jr at Texas, Kurt Busch(who BTW handled that a lot better than I would have, I'd have pounded my little brother for that crap.) at Lowes. Hell he took off so quick at Texas, Jr jumped in the car and finished the race for him. Face it folks it's Shrub's attitude that got him booted from HMS, that and it had to be kinda expensive to keep up with his wrecked cars.

I know there are a bunch of Jr. "lovers" that see nothing wrong with what he did, but the guy wrecked Busch and there was no reason for it. You bump draft head on and if you know anything about racing you know if you tag a car off center you are going to spin 'er If the roles were reversed and Jr. were in the chase and Busch wasn't there would have been a barage of beer cans on the track every time the 5 passed stands. Everyone and there sister would have been winning as well about how Jr. got wrecked by someone not even in the chase.

Do not post if you do not see the irony of an Earnhardt wrecking the 5 when the 5 has a chance to win...

if the drivers were allowed to overtake each other during the safety car period. I know sounds stupid but it would be really amusing for us fans to watch. As soon as one driver got overtook, he would immediatley overtake to get his place back, all the drivers would be constantly fighting for position at a reduced pace. I'd pay to see that.

People please! All this anger...Can't you see it's tearing us apart? It makes me want to cry.

Stewart this, Jr that, crybaby who, should've when... Sometimes officials make bad calls...World Series, super bowls, and whatever basket ball has - all have been won and lost because of bad calls.

Now we are all at each other's throats. United we stand! We can't beat the all mighty NASCAR if we are all fighting like this! But this is exactly what they want us to do. They know if we are divided, we are powerless to stop them. We can get through this...who's with me?

i always check the news paper the next day after the race is over. i like to see how much money each driver gets. some looks like they just won the lottery, others it looks like they just get pocket change, especially for the Busch drivers.

I know that Sundays race was a mess! I blame it mainly on the rain and the inconsistancy of Nascar rules.
But I think Saturdays race was great!!!!
The finish was .085 seconds between 1st and 2nd place.
It was the kind of race a Nascar fan lives for!
I hope everyone enjoyed it?

The announcers were obviously dejected when it became apparent that Greg Biffle had won the race. They wanted Bowyer to win so badly that he was all they talked about the last 10 laps. These announcers should be impartial and not show obvious emotions when the driver they want to win doesn't. I understand Ned Jarrett and Darrell Waltrip pulling for relatives to win the Daytona 500, but none of these announcers have ties to Bowyer that I know of.

Honestly, what Dale did to Kyle was something that, normally, ONLY Stewart would do... Dale should know better.

Kyle is an awesome driver but he just has the worst luck. He should have won so many races if it werent for being punted out of the way but aggressive drivers, that all got away with no penalties for doing it.
I think Hendricks made a mistake by letting Kyle go...especially for Dale Jr....c'mon.
