Look, you will get the racist element, just look at football and how bad things used to be for non white football stars. lets face it, Lewis Hamilton has grabbed world headlines simply because of what he has done a "the new guy" and the fact that he is non white in what is considered to be the domain of peope of European stock, he has entered F1 and wowed everyone all over the world the same way Tiger Woods did in Golf and Brazils Diane Dos Santos did in Gymnastics, so the race issue will not easily go away will it now ?
Personally I think he has demonstrated that it has nothing to do with the melanin in your skin, but everything to do with having what it takes to be a champion. Lewis has got that "drive" and true grit determination.

Ron Dennis spotted his talent, and now the whole planet has been able to see the guy drive an F1 car and be on the verge of world champion title holder in his very first year in the Sport.

Lewis Hamilton is a rare "one off" type of F1 racing driver, its as simple as that and nothing but nothing can change that fact, certainly not his skin colour!

This is not about racism, its about favouritism. We are now hearing that Mclaren might pay Alonso, but not let him race next year. Can't the "brilliant" Hamilton handle competition next season or does Mclaren want to manufacture another win for Hamilton?
