No, Boyer is not the only hope. Dave Duspaine brought up the fact that Jimmy Johnson was 158 points out of first place at this time last year and won the title. Based on that statistic, the top 8 still have a shot at the cup.

It's still to early to count anybody out with seven races to go.
Kurt Busch or Denny Hamlin would need a lot of help--maybe like Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson wrecking each other at Talledega (far-fetched, but it could happen)--but they still have time to make up the points. Good choice on your favorite drivers, by the way.

Its still up for grabs the other drivers could have a bad race. Still 7 to go. You can make up 185 points on the leader in 1 race if the circumstances happen just right!!!

I don't know what you are asking, what do you mean?Did Bowyer get screw?? well maybe, it could have been Jimmie Johnson, or Jeff Gordon! This race was bogus and it should have been raced to the end it was a really messed up weekend, we will see, we will argue about this win for awhile and we all have our own opinions!!! GO Jimmie GO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Smoke is Tony Stewart.
No one is out just yet...I hope at least. Luck can go bad very quickly. Maybe if we poison the engine shop at Hendricks though...
Snake if they passed could they have been penalized and sent to the end of the longest line...Would Robby Gordon have been sent there?

Bowyer may be on a roll now but he will not win the chase.I hate to say this being a die hard Jr. fan but Jimmy or Jeff will win in the end .I can't belive I just said that. Please forgive me Jr. Nation.I was hoping Truex would step up but to much bad luck coming his way I just don't know.

Mark Martin could not have made it ''to''the finish line !!!
At the finish, last sunday,Gordie Boy & his #48 buddy, hit the gas in 'their'' cars 50/75 ft. before the finish line, making it look as though Biffle wasn't keeping pace-car speed.
After Gordie hit the gas pedal,he was actually going [3] times faster !!! than the pace-car was !!!And that's considered passing, and you can't pass under caution NICE TRY GORDIE BOY ..NOT THIS TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
