As as far as excitement is concerned how would you grade the first 3 races?
>
(on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the most exciting and 1 being the worst)

I give them a 9. I think it is definitely keeping things interesting. It appears that it will come down to the final race again this year. I am still pulling for Jimmie to become a Back2Back champ though.

As exciting as it can get, but it still sucks, change for changes sake is not always a good thing and NASCAR really needs to rethink the whole chase thing. Will they? Hell no. I have to give the first 3 races a 6 but only because I am a Gordon Fan. I would give it more but JJ is on top and I'm not a big fan of his. Then again, Smoke, the Shrub and Hammylin arent in great shape so thats a good thing....yeah...gonna stick with a 6, could use a lot of improvement.

9 - One thing is for sure - you just never know what is going to happen next! Just 3 races in and we have had a driver win his first Nextel Cup race, you have had a race winner and contender fail post-race inspection, and you have had a rain delay that almost sent several top contenders straight to the bottom of the rankings. There have been races where I sometimes find myself getting a little bored but now I HAVE to stayed tuned in just to see what is going to happen next. Whether you are a Gordon, Stewart, Earnhardt, Ford or Chevey fan - this has been the most exciting chase that I can remember. It is up for grabs and nobody can quite get a grasp on it yet. And for the icing on the cake - there is almost as much excitement happening "off the track" with all of the "did he cuss?" "did he know the camera was rolling" "should we allow him to start at Talledaga?" etc. I say rock on!!

Don't watch most of the tracks because the chase suck and so do most of the tracks that they run in the chase but I will be watching Talladega, Martinsville and Atlanta.

I'll give it about an 8. The real exciting thing about this year
is all of the idiot calls that have been made.

My favorite moment was the fight between Petty and Hamlin. Kyle did a great job of shutting the kid up.

3 total, one for each race. Get rid of the chase, bring back old way.

I'd say 5. I'm still not sure about the whole chase thing.
