"BOOGITY,BOOGITY,BOOGITY..

People are so quick to jump to the conclusion that it was all about the car with Mansell and Hill. If that's the case, why didn't Williams employ complete nobodys to cut down on the wages bill? It would make economic sense, especially since F1 is more of a business than a sport. And it's not as if the Benettons were slow.
Nobody has ever grabbed a car by the scruff of the neck and charged as hard as Mansell when he was on one. Nobody. And just look at his results in Masters GP.
Damon Hill fended off the (apparently mighty) Schumacher despite the German's usual underhanded tactics, Hakkinen (the only driver Schumacher feared) and Villeneuve when he was on form, and easily a worthy opponent for all of the above.
The best car doesn't mean your going to win.
And if it did, look at Barrichello, Coulthard, and Patrese.

It's talent that wins. And both Mansell and Hill had it in abundance.

After 30 years of watching Formula 1 with those great drivers I find myself wondering if we will ever see the likes of them again or will the Red Baron take our hearts with him. Does anyone else feel like this. Thanks for the good times Michael Shumacher!

they let you look in the pits, etc. It's $60 per person, and we'd be paying for 3 people. Please only answer if you've purchased the "pre-race" pass and experienced it before. In your opinion, was it worth the fee?

I am 16 and I want to pursue a racing career.

But I dont know if i have the funding to start it. How can i go about doing this?

Do go-kart racing leagues require you to own your own kart to race in it? or will the provide one?

Any advice at all would help.

PS: I live in seattle area, and I am signed up for newsletters from Grand Prix Raceways, a go-karting establishment in Tacoma, and recently got a newsletter saying "The NW Indoor Karting Championships will return to GPR on Sunday, April 1st. We will have more fabulous prizes and a 200cc Pro class with a $500 purse for the top three drivers."

And "For Kart Racers there will be a pre-season Kart Prep seminar on February 21st at 7:00PM hosted by Dave Lehmann and 2006 Rotax Max National Champion Mike Rolison. Contact Dave at GPR for a flyer."

With all the different types of racing there are many with higher speeds, more intricate track layouts, offroad courses, etc., why do you choose to watch NASCAR? I would really like to know. Please do not answer if you are not a NASCAR fan. Do not use this as an excuse to trash NASCAR.

What if a multi driver car won a championship, for example Mark Martin in the #01 car.
Would both drivers 'win' it or is it possible?

not against drivers such as Juan Pablo Montoya, Aric Almirola, and some other non-American drivers coming into the sport. Also why aren't the against going to Mexico or Canada to race. Personally I'm not against the drivers, or Toyota, I'm only against Mexico and Canada, because they are going to be taking away dates from tracks that should keep the dates. I know currently the Busch series have them on off weekends, but I know once it gets to Cup, I forsee losing Darlington or another track, that only has one date.
I'm just curious as to why fans are against Toyota, but not the other things I mentioned?
