i wonder how the american cars would go up against european and asian cars, would this force a more technological race?

would this encorage a more international audience?

what other cars could you imagine in the series? (BMW, Mercs, Aston Martin etc?)

Ya I know they have a pushrod engine now and all of that but i thought it had to be an actual production motor. Not just one that they made just for NASCAR? so if anyone could help me out, it would great.

I know that it was all luck of the draw and it's restrictor plate racing, but it is still an odd thing to think about.

up in the stands such as elevators. I went to the Poconos and really had a hard time getting into the stands. I would think they would have ramps, elevators or something to help the handicaps. The parking at Poconos was excellent. Thanks, its almost race time

Lets say you want to race in the Daytona 500, buy a car, and get in on time! YOUR IN THE SHOW!

Do you think each year drivers should be put through a test of various things, such as eye sight, reaction time (reflexes), health, a timed driving test, amoung other things before they can race on Nascar's top circut? Or maybe just new guys?

I am sure 95% of the drivers are in great shape, but I am talking about the guys who come in like the 72 year old fellow. I dont have anything wrong with him racing, I just dont want to see him have an accident that could hurt him, or others on the track...

If you do test them, do you test everyone, or wait until they make a certian age? Or only test them if they have not raced in the past 5 years? I am interested to see what everyone thinks... I think its a great idea to make sure the saftey of everyone is in good hands...

Im not sure I can sort of see it working but im more towards the side of it not working as the new compounds are harder to start with and therefore are going to be slower to start with especially the softs

I think that IRL racing now is more exciting than NASCAR because of the open wheel to wheel racing, side by side, lap after lap at 200 MPH and faster. To bad they can't get a bigger car count tho.

Some in NASCAR would rather ram their cars against JP Montoya...then have a Colombian win a race. I hope Montoya wins it all and changes NASCAR forever.
