This will be an interesting year, with the small changes in the point system, things will be a bit different.
Expect Tony Stewart to finish at the worst in the top 5 for sure with a chance to win the championship until the checkered flag at homestead-miami
Also, watch out for Dale Jr. If the team starts clicking, he could do even better than last year and really be a threat for his first championship, and that would make the fans go crazy(in a good way of course)
If RCR continues to improve, watch out also for Kevin Harvick, most drivers wouldn't mind having the year he had last year.
Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson are never too far from the front in the points, and that trend will probably continue, especially for Jimmie Johnson(unfortunately for some), who has done well year after year.
Expect the Roush drivers to bounce back from last year as well
Final pick: Tony Stewart, but this year will be close, expect all the drivers I mentioned to be fighting hard for the championship, this should be a great year.
Follow up: Not yet, Dale Jr. will eventually leave DEI, but I don't think he really wants to leave this early.

With NASCAR changing their point system for 07. I think Kasey Kahne has a pretty good change of winning the championship providing he has another good year like in 06 having a season high 6 wins. I think Dale Jr. will stay with DEI mainly because it's the company his dad built despite his fall outs with Teresa. This could be one way to keep his father close to his heart.

I like Tony Stewart to win this year. Matt Kenseth would be my second guess.
Yeah, I see Dale Junior going to Childress next year and then eventually working his way back to DEI and taking it over a few years down the road. I think that's what it will take for Theresa to understand that DEI ain't DEI without Junior.

Tony Stewart will be very determined this year,Matt Kenseth is one of the most consistent and dependable drivers out there.Jeff Gordon can be a factor but I think fatherhood will kill what little competitive drive he may have left.Kevin Harvick still can't be ruled out. This season will prove what a fluke Kasey Kahne's year was .Junior will show what he's really made of and have a strong season ,despite the adversity .My final pick:Tony Stewart. The most talented veteran, with the the best crew chief and pit crew in the business will take his third championship.

I don't think Hermie has a chance man... Glad to see he still has a fan base though...
Anyways.. I think this is going to be RCR's year.. Harvick's odds are better at getting the title than Burtons I think.. But Burton has more years under his belt.. It could be interesting! Either way.. RCR has a title locked up this year I think..
AND, I pray JR does leave DEI.. That'd be awesome! And then maybe everyone will realize that he's not GOD and hopefully he will sign w/ some 1 car team.. Like Morgan-McClure!.. Yea, I CAN DREAM!

I think that anyone driving a Toyota will win. Toyota invested big money into it and can buy thier way into a cup trophy. As far as Junior goes he wont leave DEI. Theres too much ( once again ) money invested into it. Besides Budwieser has ties with DEI.

that is actual not Hamlin, regardless of the indisputable fact that he will submit a strive against. both authentic the front-runners are Stewart and Gordon both that really have a probability (yet not as solid as tony and jeff) are Kenseth and Johnson The darkish horse is Kyle Busch because he has the skills, and he extremely needs to educate Hendrick what he's dropping.

If Kasey Kahne has a year like he did in '06 then I think he will have a pretty good chance at winning the championship in '07.
