He'll stay right where he is. The money is there, no question about it, although there is some doubt that DEI technology is as good as some of the other top teams. Theresa, though, is nobody's fool. She'll see that Jr. gets what he needs, as well as a piece of the ownership of DEI. She knows that if Jr. leaves, she really has nothing left to market.

DEI was established by Dale with the dream of developing a company that his children would one day own. If Teresa has no interest in racing , then it is time for her to hand the reigns over to those in the family that can keep it afloat. If that means Jr. is allowed to buy out a controlling portion of DEI, as he is trying to negotiate, then so be it. If not, then he needs to look at his options carefully and either move to RCR or another team.... or start up a Cup team under his own JR Motorsports.
Of course, if he leaves... and let us hope that he doesn't, DEI will be nothing more than a museuim within 3 years. Most of the employees there are loyal to Jr, and know that without him..... DEI is nothing!

I think that he'll wind up staying but if he was smart he would leave and go to either RCR or Joe Gibbs Racing. DEI does not have the equipment nor the workers to compete against the likes of RCR, Hendrick, Roush and now Evernham has passed DEI.
The main thing that Dale Jr wants is for DEI to be able to compete on the same level as everyone else and Theresa doesn't want to spend the money to do so.
If he does leave then I see him leaving and going to either RCR or JGR. He has already said that once he gets to the end of his career that he would love to drive for RCR. And if Theresa isn't careful that might be sooner rather than later.

I am not sure what the future holds for Little E at this point. It seems to me he is very serious about getting the controlling percentage of DEI. I think he deserves this. From the interviews I have seen and heard, if he does not get what he wants from Teresa, he will walk. It would not surprise me, if he does leave, to see him with RCR next year. I would love to see the #3 back on the track. Only Junior could pull that off.

If he was a smart man he would leave the company business, he would let his step-mom run it into the ground, and he wouldnt look back. He owes nothing to this woman, and by his and her own admission they dont like each other never have. If he stays at DEI he wont win a championship, and he will slowly fade from being a top driver to being a driver who could do something if he only had the equipment.
Move on go to RCR and drive a car for them like your daddy did.

june-bug will stay with dei.the whole thing with him and his stepmom was just a glitch. if he decided to leave he is one of the most popular drivers in nascar and his opertunity in the racing field is unlimited. he could go anywhere he wants but i think for a while he will stay with dei.maybe some day he will have his own team befor he goes and races with someone else that would bw a step back for jr. and he is all about moving forward

Eventually he is going to leave. It has always been his dream to drive his daddy's car. Can't you just picture it. Jr. with RCR, Driving the Black #3, of course bud will go with Jr. It will be like his tribute car he drove back in 06'.

Who cares? His fans are a bunch of bandwagoniers. He has about as much racing talent as Kyle Petty. The apple has fallen far from the tree, and he doesn't have half the talent that his father had.

I really don't care what Jr does. He's way over rated and not one of the top drivers. He wins about once a year which is better than most, but he's no Stewart, Kahne or Johnson.
