I've been a proud supporter of Jeff Gordon before he became famous. This was back then when he and Dale Earnhardt were buddies/rivals -- before the competition started to flow out of the driver's control. Now it's hard to win a race based on driver skill alone, because it depends on who has the best car, pit crew, etc. Gordon for the most part, is a pretty safe driver. Yeah, he's caused a few one on one cars accidents through the years, but who hasn't? I also like Gordon because he is one of the best speakers no matter what mood he's in. He cares for the sport, and has supported NASCAR from the beginning.
I respect all other drivers, and I look at how each of them reacts to particular situations. I don't hate a driver just because they are competition, but there has to be legitimate reasons for not liking them. I think that if the drivers themselves are good sports, then their fans will be also.

Jeff Gordon is my favorite driver and just about the only driver I like, He is really great on the racetrack and I have been a fan of his for 5+ years and I love every minute of it. I am really glad that he is happy since he got married and has a little girl on the way, There is too much crap about Jeff being gay and that he does nothing but whine, If Jeff were gay would he be marrying a woman and have a child on the way? I don't think so, Gordon Hater need to do their math. Just because Jeff was a Rainbow Warrior at one time does not mean that he is gay colors have nothing to do with a person being gay. Anyways Jeff has common sense to know when someone is being stupid and using poor judgement. Jeff Gordon is a TRUE CHAMPION and that is all there is to it. Since he is all fired up about this season I have a feeling that he is going to win another championship.

Jamie McMurray all the way.
I have been a die hard Jamie McMurray fan since the Bristol Night Race weekend in 2003. I remember that week very well. I got behind Jamie and then he went on and got an awesome 3rd place finish that night. Then the following weekend I went to what was the last southern 500 at darlington. Jamie dominated the whole race until the final pit stop and then went on to finish 4th which was great.
I finally got to meet Jamie last summer, and needless to say that was really cool.

I'm a HUGE Jeff Gordon fan, but not as Much as Jr. or Kasey
I'm proud to be a 24 fan and people can't say they hate him because he's a whiner.. why? because 100% of todays drivers whined.. even Dale Sr. whined a couple times... not like Tony or Biffle..

I am a dedicated dyed in the wool Tony Stewart man.That said,I still appreciate a driver who can get the job done.Jeff Gordon has gotten the job done over and over again.Four championships and over seventy race wins sure as hell is not a fluke.I will get hacked and grossed for this,but the truth is ,he ranks among the best drivers ever to don a fire suit in NASCAR.There,I said it, now hang me as a traitor. BUT,real Tony Stewart fans have the guts to speak the truth,the rest are pretenders.I have to admit ,Jeff is ONE of the best not THE best.

I am a uge Jeff Gordon fan, and love the fact that he is still going strong, is married to Ingrid, and they are expecting a girl, in July. He is going to make a great dad. I get tired of people saying he is gay as it isnt true, and the reason that got started is that his car and uniform were the same colors as the gay pride parade flag and everything and they jsut assumed he was gay and thats not true, as he has been married before and is married now, with a child on the way, and most people just hate Jeff because he is the best driver currently in NASCAR, and has the most everything out of all the active drivers.

I like Jeff Gordon, he is not my favorite, but you have to respect him for all he has accomplished. Anyone that has won as many races and championships as he has deserves respect.

it may well be fairly unusual if for him to even substitute it the colour of the #24 He has continually had a yellow #24 considering he all started cup racing. besides the undeniable fact that he did have an orange roof decision for the no bull 5 races. besides the undeniable fact that the door numbers have continually be yellow.
