Honda. Honda already does ALL the engines in the IRL, some in F1 and in other racing venues. They are making great strides in the racing world, and would be the likely candidate to take advantage of the NASCAR market.

Though Honda seems to be the most lodgical a statement from Honda said they are focusing their racing development toward their open wheel program. That the time is not right for NASCAR now.
No comment from the Nissan camp.
The best thing is if NASCAR would give the concessions to Mercury,Pontiac,Olds to get them back in racing.

Neither. I think that the only reason that Toyota moved to NASCAR is because they have already been involved with the Truck series. Honda and Nissan are not really involved with alot of racing. Honda does a little bit, but not to the point that they are looking to expand into different types of racing.

Honda will most likely enter into Nascar next, they have reached the ceiling in the IRL. I dont see any other foreign auto manufacturer getting into nascar.

For those of you who think a european manufacturer is going to enter into Nascar, you need to get back to reality. They are more focused on the series that is actually going to sell their cars, and its not Nascar. F1 is where they will stay, you guys amaze me thinking that Aston Martin, BMW, Mercedes, or VW is going to enter into the Nascar circuit. I dont really see any of those guys building any cars here in the US just to enter them into a race series. Toyota, Honda yeah they already manufacture cars here the Europeans dont so dont look for it anytime soon. Nascar isnt a worldwide hit like F1, and european manufacturers are catering to a market that typically doesnt buy their cars based on what Stewart, Gordon, or and Earnhardt drive.

Neither, unless they start making a serious impact on our economy, meaning bringing a serious amount of jobs here or move their headquarters to the United States. The reason Toyota was let in is that they manufactures a lot of vehicles in the US.

WELL IN ORDER TO RACE IN NASCAR THE BREED THAT THEY WANT TO RACE MUST BE BUILT IN THE U.S. SO THE POSSIBILITYS ARE VERY LIMITED.
