Wow, I'm getting fired up. I watched the selection for the starting line up on Thursday night on Speed. Last night I watched the practice session and trackside live. Tonight it's on and anyone that is not excited is not a real race fan. The format for the shootout is sweet, with the pit stops before the last 50 laps. It would be awesome to see someone like Said win it or maybe one of the "old timers". Thank goodness the offseason is shorter than most sports because weekends suck without racing. If I tape it tonight I might watch it tomorrow night, but probably just tonight.

Wouldnt miss it !!! It starts the whole year of racing off. Somebody previously said " isnt it boring " evidently they never have watched it. No points no holds barred racing only. A dash for the cash is all it is and it ALWAYS is very exciting !!

yep, wouldn't miss it, it's so great to see the cars back on the track. even though by next sunday, no one will remember or care who won. i'm acually looking a lot more forward to thursdays twin 150s. to me, they are more exciting than the 500, with so many people racing to get in the show.

Yep...I'm gonna be watching it. I'm gonna be rooting for Dale Jr of course. I really wished that Martin Truex Jr and Casey Mears could have been in it but they'll be there next season.
