In 1997 he had a pretty good year also, hitting 30 HR's and 86 RBI's. The rest of his career was downhill from there and pre-1996 he was just an average player. His stats went through the roof in 1996, the year he was linked to roids. I understand why players do them, because they work, and he got paid millions more for the rest of his career. You agree?
