No, Shaqs weight finally caught up to him. Bynum has potential and is a building block for the future.

Shaq is done. Bynum is on the rise, quick rise. He's averaging 12-11 and he's only 20 i think. Shaq is 34 and he can't ball like he could any more. Bynum is guna be a stud one day.

YES! Shaq is An old man playing a game for younger people. Even though he is a feared force in the game Andrew has great potential of being a great center. Shaq has been struggling this year anyways.

NO! Bynum is the Lakers Future! He will be one of the best C in the game and possibly even better then Shaq ever was (his FT will be around 75% and he knows the sky hook, he just hasn't used it in a game yet).

Bynum is young and starting to show signs of being a great center one day. So if you would want to risk getting an older player, whom by the way gets in foul trouble a whole lot and not to mention injuries, for a young and upcoming athlete; then you must be out of your mind. Its better to keep young players and train them than have older players. Even though Shaq is a veteran, he's still a liablity on the court cause of the foul trouble and injuries which has also sidelined him in the past seasons.

NO WAY! Shaq is a feared force in the NBA, nobody recognizes Bynum as being good. They could both do the same offensivly but Shaq is just scary.

i would. shaq is getting old and has a few seasons left. bynum is averaging a double double in his third season and he's only gonna get better. people dont recognize him as a great player now because he's still young.

depends on which team i am. i would rather have shaq if i was a team looking to win a championship right now but any other team who is looking even somewhat in the future i'd take bynum

interesting question though
