because it makes regular season games MEANINGFUL. last year, the OSU/Michigan game was an awesome game to watch because they knew whoever won was in the championship. THE REGULAR SEASON IS THE PLAYOFFS. without BCS, no one would even care about games like OSU/Michigan because it wouldn't matter, both teams would end up in the playoffs. and even if you do have an 8 team playoff, then there's going to be arguments for who the top 8 teams should be. there is no easy answer. BCS is the best system in college football. that's what separates it from other sports (especially college basketball). regular season games mean EVERYTHING because you CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE.
everyone always says they hate the BCS but i'm telling you right now, if they change it you will miss it when the regular season is a joke. who agrees?
