People say that Hawaii should be in the NC game because they are unbeaten . First off the so called bowl games (BCS) are not affiliated with the NCAA in determining a Div 1A champ. These games are run by corporate sponsors and not by the NCAA. The NCAA in no way at this point in time determines who the champ is. The truth is the sportswriters in the AP and the Coaches and a non NCAA computer do. So when a team regardless of schedule is the only one left standing unbeaten at the end of the regular NCAA season in Div 1A football. It only makes sense that they deserve it. Lets not forget last year when Boise State was the only unbeaten team left last year after the bowl games were done and yet they did not even get a share of the championship.

As far as this year goes Hawaii is regardless of the outcome in the BCS game, the NCAA Div 1A Champ.

13 and 0 baby! Who else in NCAA D-1 can say that? Hawaii could barely get a schedule this year with all the Super-Powers ducking them!

They should have gotten Ohio State and let UGA settle the score with LSU. Why do conference championship games have no meaning? I thought UGA lost to Tenn????? and never even got a sniff of the SEC Title???? Must have misread the SEC Standings

So by that reasoning... Illinois beats Ohio State. but they lost to Missouri? So should Missouri be in the BCS Championship instead of OSU? Using transitive property you can probably six degree of seperation every team in Division I. The fact is Hawaii never lost... no matter if they won by 1 or by 21 a win is a win.

Yeah, all speculation will be handled when Georgia lays the smack down on Hawaii. They will be brought back into reality. They are a mediocre team who doesn't play anybody...kind of like Ohio State, just not to the same extent. And Chayna, stop saying we're number 2, we're number 1, everyone else just doesn't know it yet!

On the flip side Ohio St. lost to unranked Illinois at home and LSU has lost 2 games this year and has got lucky in several others. I don't care what conference u come from. If a team goes undefeated give them a shot. No one else can make that statement this year.

Very simple. Everyone says hawaii had a easy schedule so if we are going off wins alone they deserve it more then anyone else. OSU didnt play anyone and they are there. So a OSU fan cant say hawaii doesnt belong becuase in that sense OSU doesnt belong either.
