What is the name of the goalie (Jason is his first name) that has the nick name "Jumbo"? He played for the Houston Aeros for a while and he was the party of a team that won the Stanley cup. He is now retired. Does anyone know his last name?

Jason Elliott was the 3rd string goalie for the Red Wings in 2002 when they won the Stanley Cup (after Hasek & Legace).
He sat on the bench for a couple of games in April 2002 when Legace hurt his knee.

He didn't play a game but he was in the Stanley Cup Parade!

Jason Elliott played with the Houston Aeros of the IHL in 2000-2001, but he's never played an NHL game.

He's also only 183 lbs for a 6'02" goalie. Certainly not jumbo.

He's also not engraved on the Stanley Cup

Jason... Muzzatti? :D Maybe... Jason Elliott? lol I don't think he's ever played in the NHL, let alone won a Stanley Cup.

Seriously, I have no clue.

Actually... I'm pretty sure Elliott's nickname is Jumbo, but he's never won a Stanley Cup...

cyrenaica: Actually, Jason Elliot DID play for the Aeros. When they were part of the IHL. He may be mistaken about the Stanley Cup, but I'm positive he's talking about Elliott. http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php3?pid=17906

Canadian Biology Man: I know he's tiny, but I swear his nickname is Jumbo!!!!!!! Ok.. this is bothering me now... Do you mean Elliott? I NEED TO KNOW.

The only reason I know this is because I used to follow Cornell's hockey team closely.

Muahahahaha! He IS Jumbo! I found evidence... sort of.

"Welcome back, `JUMBO' and Marty

Two former Aeros were in Compaq Center recently as goaltender Jason Elliott and defenseman Marty Wilford returned in enemy uniforms. Elliott, who teamed with Frederic Chabot last season, made 43 saves in helping Cincinnati tie the Aeros 1-1 last Friday...."

it is the fashion of factor you may remember as quickly as you notice the respond, only won't be able to remember now. I remember Frank Lampard had to take the comparable penalty thrice against West Ham United final season, yet he scored all of them. think of it is significant for different purchasers to recognize this would possibly not be a premiere League game, it is a Championship, League One or League 2 from the way the question is worded.
