I know OSU is going to be in the BCS title game, but why in the hell is LSU there and not VT? Both teams won their respective confrences but VT was ranked higher in the BCS, played a higher ranked team(BC was 11th, Tenn. was 14th), and matched LSU's record(both were 11-2). Yes, VT lost 48-7 to LSU in week 2, but with the way the current BCS system seems to work they reward play closer to the end of the season. So someone please explain to me why LSU is playing for the title even after losing to an unranked Arkansas team, when the 2 games VT lost both teams were ranked 2nd in the nation.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. Does Kansas have a right to be in the Orange Bowl when Mizzou was not only ranked higher, they beat Kansas last week....

Yankees offer:
-RHP: Phil Hughes
-CF: Melky Cabrera
-pitching prospect

Red Sox offer:
-CF: Jacoby Ellsbury
-Minor league SS: Jed Lowrie (Who?)
-pitching prospect

I believe the Yankees have the better offer for the Twins because Hughes and Melky have more regular season experience. Hughes came on early June and Melky took over center field from Johnny Damon of all people.. granted he throws like a girl. Ellsbury and Lowrie are unproven in the long run.

Reports indicate that the Red Sox, if they include Ellsbury in the deal, they will retract Jon Lester. That action alone by Red Sox management might have cost them Johan. That might have just been a ploy to see if Hank and Cash would up the ante. Nice try Theo..

Ok so now i've narrowed it down to these two options. I was wondering which gun is better for taking down a yote keeping in mind pricing, .17HMR or .223. Is a .17HMR powerful enough for taking down a yote at a fairly long distance(80-125 yrds.)? Is a .223 too powerful for taking down other varmits like prairie dogs and rabbits?

And also, i found a scope that magnifies at 8-32x50. So what gun would even be able to shoot that distance?

I am interested in purchasing one and having it custom made with a 3.7" tire or a 4.5" tire size. When commenting about it's performance can you tell me what size tires you are using. Also it is the "Pugsley Frameset"--100% Surly 4130 CroMoly steel. Main triangle double-butted. TIG-welded. Mabe you have a recomendation. I want to ride mostly on sand.

when i go diving for the first time that day, im usually warm, but when i have to go for that 2nd dive sometimes i get cold, and sometimes i dont. i really want the wetsuit with the full sleeves and shorts, but those are more expensive then the full wetsuits! what would you recommend?

could anybody tell me what some good martial arts are that practice: joint manipulation, throws, holds/locks, quick knock outs(ie, vulcan nerve grip, yes I know its just from StarTrek). Preferably something where i could block a punch, and then transition into a joint manipulation or throw. any ideas, also, weapons training, mainly knife-like or bo/stick would be good to. I'm not looking for something that focuses on tradition, kata, and self control, I had enough of tradition and kata in karate, and as for self controll, well, I've got a pretty good handle on that. Yesterday this problem arose. I drove off a par five tee. To the left is a large bank that slopes down to the fairway. At the bottom of the large bank there is an open, concrete lined gutter to carry away rainwater. My ball rolled down the bank and into the foot-deep gutter, and then rolled about 50 more yards back downhill towards the tee box. What happens? There are not red stakes, and no OB. Where do I place my ball and is there a penalty stroke?

i heard that they only reffed for a year...

pass interference over tripping feet? not intentional and that cowboy player .. i don't think had a chance catching it anyway..

and al harris intercepting t.o's pass but they called him out of bounds??

even dallas cowboys fans agreed that those 2 plays should've been in green bay's favor.. but umm. what's goin on with the refs...

and if so... with the refs had different calls to that.. you think that green bay would've won??

Can i get a real answer to why not just the obvious its more tiring and if it is that then give me the in depth reason of why they made them shorter do to fatigue. becaue a championship bout is 25 min in UFC and a championship pro fight is 36min 12rounds x 3min= 36 so yeah

Do you think we should get rid of Rick Dipietro due to his inconsistancy in the recent seasons. Despite his record and GAA isn't horrible it's not getting us places either. Satan is getting old and Yashin our only true captain is gone to Russia and is probably not coming back and the rest of the roster can only put up so many points to make up for rick's mistakes. PS. If we got rid of him or traded him who would you like to see between the pipes?

Now before everyone says "hey they all knew the format before the season started". I just think the chase "waters-down" the champ. Lets face it you don't have to be the best you just have to be the best (or luckiest) for less than 1/3 of the season. To further my point Clint Boyer got outperformed by 11 other guys for 26 races but ended up 3rd cause he didn't have any major problems. Jimmie's nice but i'm sorry, in my mind you have to be the best all year to actually be the best.
