We all know that the yankees have NOT won a world series in the 21st century. My question is it because of a-rod? If he goes elsewhere would the yankees have a better chance of actually WINNING?
or will the curse of a-rod last 100 years like The Cubbies?

He's a great player, that is not the debate here. he seems to complain alot to the refs and players on other teams say he whines too much. Do you think he expects special treatment because he is one of the top players?

I'm just wondering because the whole "videogate" thing happened in the first half of the first period of the first game of the season and ALOT of people seem to be under the impression that is the reason they are still perfect on the season. I mean... is Bill Belichick a psychic... and does he have magical powers that turned those confiscated "stolen signals" from the Jets into signals from the other teams the Patriots have faced so far? I just don't get it... I know a lot of people tell me to just ignore it because all it is is people be ignorant, but I can't. How can you believe what happened then has any bearing on this season. I'll tell you what though... the Patriots ARE still stealing signals because they have this guy called an assistant coach who stands on the sidelines and takes notes on the opposing teams playcalling. They also have a camera man who sits in any other part of the stadium except the sideline taping things... even playcalling, because they can zoom.

I am an Eagles fan, and I have friends that are Giants and Cowboys fans. We fight so much over football that it may seem like we really hate each other. I see this happen a lot to other people too. Whats up with it?

With the COT and the chase format, is NASCAR chasing away its long time fans? Will they come out with their own engine next, eliminating the manufacturers engines?

I'm obviously a little bias but I thought Beckett had this in the bag. You're sorta supposed to vote based on the season but you can't ignore what Beckett did in the postseason...he was literally untouchable and beat Sabathia twice and being the AL MVP. I'm surprised he didn't get it and how wide the point spread was. Who do you think should've won?
