I have already started. I was once a guy who watched every show every qualifying every practice every race. If it was rained out I worked a 1/2 day so I could be home to watch the race on Monday.
Now I could care less what is happening. These new rules, the COT, the cup drivers taking over the Busch series, these dumb cookie cutter tracks, is just about to my limit.
I have stopped watching most races but am a true fan of the old originals in the south east and my hope is that it will come back to a few that they have snubbed.
I do not buy anything that has NA$CAR on it and I do not buy any of the big sponsor's product anymore either if it can all be helped.
I truly hope Brian France has an eye awaking experience and he comes to his senses. He has destroyed everything his Grandfather and father have worked there lives for and he has turned it into sh!t in just a few years.
I was OK with the 90's too.
My first NA$CAR type race was in 67 when the Grand National series came to my home track.

I personally like the race for the chase. How can anyone that is not a Gordon fan not like it. HMS has dominated the sport this year if anything should be looked at its how one owner can be so dominant when the rules are the same for everyone. They have been caught on the bad side of the honesty scale before so who knows. If it wasnt for the chase Gordon would have clinched a month and a half ago how entertaining is that. That would be like calling the Pats SuperBowl champs right now and playing out the rest of the season just because we have sold tickets already. I also like the influx of open wheels guys. I like the fact that they are struggling on the ovals. For years all we heard was how much better the drivers were in open wheels racing then Nascar. Well if its so easy how come old Nascar vets like Jeff Burton are contending for titles while none of the open wheels converts even made the chase. (unless you are still counting Tony Stewart). The truth is the dirt tracks in the south that a lot of guys come up on is a much better representation of the banging and close racing you get every Sunday in Nascar then the smooth open wheels cars provide.

We will always find someway to b***h and moan about the way it is being run. The nonconsistancy is the easiest thing to complain about. The rules are changed year to year. But NASCAR is doing it because they truely believe it is for the best of the fans and the competitors. The COT - for the safety of the drivers...the top 35 - to help owners without the same resources to be able to compete week in and week out...the Chase - to make it exciting for the fans all the way down to the last race! There is no denying that the people that aren't fanatics wouldn't be paying as much attention after a driver wrapped it up with 3,4,5 races to go...

I will be watching because I love the sport and have EVOLVED with the sport over the past 20 years that i have been watching...and will continue to be a HUGE FAN!!!

I already started as well, didn't watch a bit of the race at Phoenix because I had a pretty good idea that POS Johnson(what an accurate name by the way) was going to win The Hendrick cup race so why watch. Ever wonder why the ratings are going to crap? Some do but I don't, same jerks winning race after race after race is not what I call inspiring to watch. I used to not miss happy hour, qualifying or anything related to it now I will watch a football game or work outside or spend that time with the wife and kids just because of France and his ridiculous running of what once was awesome racing.

Kind of like soccer (or futbol if you prefer), Nascar fans are Nascar FANS. How do we know when a soccer game ends with extra time due to penalties? How can someone believe this. It was explained to me by an English bookseller in a Boston pub "otherwise we wouldn't have anything to blame the loss on and complain". Good point. Whether you're a Jr. fan, a Rainbow Warrior, or you pull for Jimmie, Smoke or Matt; we'll continue to watch our "team". And if they don't win that particular week, hey, we can always blame it on the officials & tune in next Sunday.

When are people going to quit accusing NASCAR of cheating because their driver has a bad season? Do fans boycott the NFL when their team doesn't make the superbowl? Personally, I have watched alot more football games that seemed rigged than NASCAR races. People need to quit whining because their driver doesn't win.

I will still watch the races next season even though Gordon should be persuing his 6th championship, nothing against Jimmie Johnson who I also like. Johnson went from 400+ points before race 26 to first place by 20 points after the race & from 6th place to 1st place after Jeff was in lead since race #5. I don't like the race for the chase to be honest but I will still watch the races on tv though

i am in some what there now. i don't watch it as often as i used to. the way that they are bringing in open wheel people makes me mad. what ever happened to the guy that started in their garage and raced up to nascar? they are dead. the little guy doesn't have a chance any more. besides the open wheel drivers don't know how to drive in nascar. they don't know how to keep steering left. the big money people only see dollars. there are a lot of drivers that are just in my area where i live that could give the open wheel drivers a run for their millions. the car of tomorrow is also crazy. that is only there because of the drivers that are coming into the sport that drive in Europe. i just don't think nascar is going to be big any more because of this. if we all stop buying stuff and ratings go down then maybe the up and coming drivers will have a chance

I'm to much of a fan to boycott, but I'll just keep bitching & complaining like everyone else, hopefully Nascar can realize it needs to get back to its roots...while they still have fans..

I personally will not boycott As I don't attend any races now. I only have access to them by way of T.V. as for the chase I think it should be eliminated. Chase drivers should not be given any privileges as they are now if the chase is kept.
N.A.S.Car is going downhill and I will probably watch less in the future. No!! FANS will not boycott. You will never see the return of good old fashioned racing.
