This is a follow-up question on the Craig S. question about winning and value. So let's get right to the point, is A'Rod's value based on what he thinks it is, what Boras thinks it is, what the fans think it is, how many rings he has, what other players are paid, or what an employer is willing to pay? If it is anything other than what an employer is willing to pay, than how is that value calculated?

How critical is stand over height test ? The top bar of my new bike just touches my private parts. Not uncomfortable, but 0 clearance. The weight is great and I think the bike is otherwise fine. (This weekend is the end of my return period of time.)

What is significance of this test? So that at a stop light, I will be comfortable while waiting? So that I can separate myself from the bicycle in an accident?

Flavo is inlove with the guy and it sometimes creepy to hear him talk about him. And why were they always hugging? Hopefully i'll provide a chuckle for someone. What do you guys think?

And the winner gets the number 1 pick....

And the teams they would be playing play each other.... The Bungels and the Cards and niether one of them is in the playoff hunt so it will not affect their outcome...

what do you think?

I will personally setup a teleconference with Roger Goodell.. Wanna join?

Last year at this point in the season he was 10th in points, 6 wins, 11 top 5s, 17 top 10s!
This season so far he's 17th in points, 0 wins, 1 top 5, 8 top 10s!
Something really went wrong? I expected him to do at least as well if not better than last year!!

sell out almost every game and you can pay off most of his salary
plus you'd be a LOCK to win that weak division and make the playoffs

Im looking into bying a set of fiber optic sights for my Springfield XD Sub-Compact 9mm. My question is this. Do all the XD's have the same sights? I found what I want online for Springfield XD but cannot find one specificly for a Sub-Compact. I need a definite answer as to wether the sights are exactly the same regardless if its a Sub-Compact or Full Frame version.
Furthermore is there any brand of Fiber Optic sight thet is better than the other? Tru Glow makes some they sell on Amazon for about $57 with shipping. Can I get em cheaper somewere else or is that the going price.
Third, is the sight something I can swap out myself or do I have to take my peice to a gunsmith?\
Thanks.

It seems to me that male baseball fans are truly gentlemen from the old school of conduct and behavior. There is nothing better than spending an afternoon at the park with my beautiful fiancee Megan (Mee-Gun, NOT May-Gun). We can share ideas of strategy and nuance while enjoying each others company surrounded by those of similar intelligence.

We had the absolute misfortune of attending an NFL game this fall with my brother Robert and his wife. This “woman” enjoys drinking non-imported beer and “regaling” us with stories of their sexual proclivity. As Megan and myself looked at our neighbors in the stands, we were horrified. People actually paint themselves and walk around in public without shirts on. Yes, congratulations. You are able to pour blue paint on your chest while drinking nasty beer from a cup on your hat. My goodness, what some Americans actually view as entertaining.

In closing, when a gentleman attends a baseball game, he is likely to find a female who looks like this also in attendance. http://www.centroculturalefrancese.it/FRANCESE/image/le%20besco.jpg

Suppose you were offered this deal:

You can hold an individual record (say, single season homeruns) that would be guaranteed to stand for 100 years ... BUT

You will never, ever, ever be part of a team that plays in the World Series (much less wins it). In fact, your team will never even make the playoffs. Ever. You are guaranteed to be a superstar on a sucky franchise.

Would you take this deal?

I think so. It's a living part of history. If it is knocked down I would like to get a piece of it. A brick or maybe even some dirt from the field would be nice.

How much would you pay to get in if it were a museum?

Red Sox's fans need not answer. We all know what you think... haters.

It gets tiring to tell all of them that they're not that old... 17 is a little on the old side, that's what I did, but while it may be too late to ever play pro for me, they're not even remoltey close to an age where they can NEVER PLAY because they'll never learn. I don't think an age exists.

Too late to learn at 12- right. isn't it against the rules to use this site if you're under 13?
