OK.....
while I know that the subject of A-Rod is getting extremely old, I wanted to ask this question from the view point of the Yankees and not A-Rod.
The Yankees veminently claimed that they would not persue him if he opted out, and as we all know he did. Now the Yankees are willing to offer him arbitration, my belief is not for the hopes of luring him back to New York for it appears to me that A-Rod is burning bridges that he shouldn't be burning, after all New York made him a very rich man, but instead for the draft picks that they will gain.
Agree or disagree with this position?
Also....
Do you believe that New York is wise in doing this, from a business standpoint, as in "protecting its assets" or do you feel that New York is selling out and going back on its word?
I am anxious to hear what some of you have to say
