Because the Jets are a miserable shell of a team right now and the Patriots look like they have the greatest offense of all time. Belichek has a huge chip on his shoulder about about the last time they played and he is intent on running up the score. With the way the Jets offense has played, I can honestly see them having 0 first downs the entire game, which means that the Pats will have the ball almost the entire game. They are going to score early and often.
Sorry, I hate the Pats with a passion and I would love for the Jets to win, but I think if I went out and found 20 of my friends, we'd have as much chance of beating the Pats as the Jets do.

I think they are just trying to say that the Patriots are absolutely gonna destroy them and overdoing it a bit. I am personally not sure, I think they might not score as much as they did in the first half because I believe that all those games and cases of "running up the score" was just them practicing for the Superbowl champion Colts. Do I think that the Jets will get handily beaten? Yes. But I think Belichick is gonna do it in a much more deliberate way this time, a way that makes Mangini feel like he is truly no good at what he does. I don't think Belichick is gonna let the Jets score a single point this time around and they will be the first shutout of the season. And he's not called Mangenius anymore because what he did wasn't that impressive. He did with them last year what Herm Edwards has done... lead them to a respectful season. The Jets are one of the most inconsistent teams in football, one year their good, the next they are not.... Mangini happened to come in right after they sucked... so that meant they had to be good... and this year, they suck again. It's literally back forth... good, bad, good, bad, good, bad... it gives me a headache. GO PATS!

A few reasons: #1, the Jets SUCK, and they suck bad and I'm from NY (Giants fan, but I hate the Pats). And Vilma is out for the season? They'll be horrible.
#2. The Pats got caught cuz of the Jets and Mangini.
#3. New York papers never have anything good to say about New York teams, unfortunately. They're the reason its hard to sign free agents, many players don't want to come to New York and be hounded for every misstep they have on the playing field.

I predicted that right after the so-called big scandal hit .
I'm not a Patriots fan , but what Mangini did is not excusable .
The ungrateful idiot caused a lot of sh*t and I hope they do go over 100 .
My Packers caught them taping last year and all they did was make them stop . No whining and crying , it wasn't that big of a deal . But our coach has class .

Because Belicheck hold grudges like no one else and they expect him to run up the score to get back an Mangini for blowing the whistle on him for the "Spygate" incident.

how weird would it be if the jets somehow beat the patriots? and its the patriots only loss the whole season. remember, bad things can happen when you go against a bad team.

San Diego papers only report 70 points. I will stick with solid west coast news over anything New York.
