I think I have found a good karate school, but I wanted to get opinions from people with more experience than me. I'm only 14 and I've never done martial arts so I'm not really sure how to tell if a school is good. The one I found is very focused on sparring and you have to get reports from school and home saying your are respectful and have good academics before you can test for a belt. the testing fees are as follows.

High White $15, Gold $39, High Gold $39, Orange $39, High Orange $39, Green $59, High Green $59, Purple $59, High Purple $59, Blue $59, High Blue $59, Red $79, Low Brown $79, Brown $79, High Brown $79, Conditional Black $99, First Degree Black $200, Second Degree Black $500, Third Degree Black $500.

Are these prices reasonable? From the sounds of this school would you attend, why or why not?

Oh, and they are REALLY persistant to enforce respect. They have all these rules for speaking with instructors and speeches you say before starting class and when you end.

I'm not a Red Sox fan, I'm a Patriots fan, but I'm watching the Red Sox, in the post season and they're crushing people like the Pats do. The Rockies come back with 3 runs, to put the game close, and the Red Sox answer right back, just like the Pats do when another team is getting the score close. Do these teams feed on each other?

The QB is not out of the pocket, the center definitely is not an eligible receiver and the ball always lands behind the line of scrimmage. So, how come it never gets flagged?

Please don't say its because they are not facing imminent loss of yardage. Every time a center snaps the ball in the NFL the offense faces imminent loss of yardage.

I own a Trek 4900 2006 model with disc brakes. Although the current wheels are ideal for mountain biking, I'm starting to enjoy cross country biking a bit more and was wondering if I could buy an extra set of road wheels on ebay or something to swap out when I'm not off roading. Heres a few questions seeking professional advice.
1. How much would it reasonably cost me?
2. Is it difficult to swap tires with disc brakes?
3. Could I do it by myself with the basic tools quickly?
4. Would the heavier MB frame cause the tires to deflate quicker?
5. Would I have to adjust the brakes and gears when I change tires or can I just swap out the wheels and be good to go?
6. Is there really a big difference?
Thanks for any response.
