i watched a couple seconds of it and must say, cleveland would probably be able to boost the blue jackets organization had it been established here, especially with dan gilberts owning the cavs. that guy is hooked on spending the cash to build a winner. in the past ive tried following the jackets but theyve never been good and very few of their games are on in cleveland so its never worked out.

If it hadn't been for Adam Foote's skate deflecting the San Jose goal, Pascal Leclaire would have had another shutout. With a few minor additions, this is the same Jackets team that was on the ice last season, the big difference is that the entire team has bought into Coach Hitchcock's system. Peca has been a pleasant surprise (nobody had him pegged as a potential first-line center), and Nash has been an absolute monster!

I like that Columbus is still "under the radar" - teams may come in here thinking of the Jackets of the past. But it would be nice to get a little more respect for the team in Seventh place in the NHL!

I think the Sharks are one of the most over-rated teams in the league. Now that they can't roll out 2 well-rested starting goal tenders, not to mention that they raised a mummy from the dead to play on their PP (Jeremy Roenick) their GGA is catching up to them.
2nd thought: Rick Nash is probably the best all-around player in the game right now.

I thought it was a very boring game. There wasn't much going on and both teams took a very limited number of shots.
