A 4 pound sledge hammer will work wonders! Just keep pounding. . . . . .
Seriously, Ravens are the epitome of the worthless 'Saturday Night Special', and is more dangerous to your and yours than any opponent you may face.
Like the ridiculous 'Hi-point' handguns, if I ever face another firearm in a fight again, I hope my assailant will be packin' one of these! ! !

JD is right, it's been my experience that Raven is a very poor quality firearm. I've done some repair work on them, but after a while, I told the guys not to accept any more of them in for repair. My best advise is to save some money and buy another gun. Besides which, the .25 isn't good for anything. I always tell people that if I ever got shot with a .25, and I found out about it, I'd probably be pissed. I tell people that if they want an in expensive pistol, with a caliber that is acceptable for self defense, and utterly reliable, buy a bulgarian made Makirov pistol for $150.00. This little pistol is made like a brick. SOLID!, it fires 9mm makerov ammunition which is 9x18mm. this falls in between the .380 (9x17mm) and the 9mm (9x19) and when loaded with good hollowpoint ammunition is a great little pistol. It was carried by more third world military and police forces than I can count and is very accurate. My wife normally carries a compact .45acp pistol, but when she can't she carries the makerov. You can bet I wouldn't let her carry it unless I trusted it completely. I keep a couple of them in strategic places around the house as well.

As a Gunsmith, there is no way for anyone to possibly know what part you are talking about that needs replacement. You can check out Numrich Gun Parts Corporation in West Hurley,New York. They are the largest U.S. supplier for antique and discontinued gun parts.

e-gunparts.com or Customer Service inquiries (845)679-4867 1-800-NUMRICH

I know this company has parts for your Raven but I feel obligated as a Gunsmith to give you this bit of advice.
Don't waste a penny trying to fix your Raven 25..They are a cheap Pot-metal Pistol that have the honor of being #1 on the National list of "Saturday Night Specials" (Junk/CHEAP guns!)..They are also prone to safety failure and unintentional firing resulting in serious injury and death. The Raven 25 is also the worst gun in U.S. history, that has resulted in more Civil lawsuits, than ANY other firearm ever produced! Not worth repairing and not worth your risk of personal injury or death...You would be better armed with a Steak knife..

Doc..With all due respect all you have to do is put Raven Arms 25 in your web browser and you will see all of the facts I have outlined here about the Raven are true and not the least bit exaggerated. Sure there are other BAD/JUNK guns out there but the Raven is still#1 on the list. Like it or not,and is considered the worst......

The best thing you can do with that Raven it to tie it about three feet from the end of a 50 foot lenght of 25 pound test fishing line.

On one end, tie a large hook and bait it with chicken livers, and on the other end, tie on a 1 gallon bleach jug. Throw it in the deepest part of the river and pull it out the next day. With luck, you will have a big catfish on the hook.

You probably mean the firing pin. When Raven came out with these .25 cal. semi-autos, they warned buyers NOT to dry fire the gun, because the firing pin is very very prone to breakage. In all likelihood this is what your problem is.. Back in the 1980's the firing pin cost something like $3, but I don't know about now.
