None of the teams USC beat are ranked.
USC is 10 spots ahead of Kentucky. Kentucky got beat by the #11 team on the road and has the same record as USC.

Florida State has played better competition that USC and the are ranked 13 spots behind USC, with the same record.

Illinois, Oregon, VT, West Virgina, Missouri ???? All of these teams have beaten ranked opponents and are behind USC.
USC got beat by one of the worst teams in D1. They were a 41 pt favorite. If USC wins out, I can understand a high ranking. With their performances so far, they should be ranked 22 at the very best. Why are they still in the Top 10??
Michigan totally disappeared when they lost to a much weaker opponent.

I say New England...39-24.
Dallas hasnt faced a defence like the Pats,Brady only sacked 3 times in 5 games. New Englands been a stable team for 6 years and have won 12 of the last 13 road games, Pats gave too much experience for Cowboys to overcome, Patriots simply a better football team.

I thought this was a actually a pretty good signing for the Leafs, short term anyway. Later on it probably wouldn't have looked as good, when Blake's production would have dropped off. Anyways, bad luck for the Leafs. Hopefully, Blake is able to fight off Leukemia and get back to his normal life.

Should NASCAR forget about this silly top 35 in points nonsense and figure out a different way to qualify for a race? I think it stinks that the top 8 qualifying for this past weekend were go or go home guys. They claim it is to protect their sponsors that have been loyal to the sport, not that I am a huge MWR fan, but what about UPS & NAPA? Valvoline, Dominos, and Marathon to name a few more. What about the others that are trying to break into the sport such as 360 OTC, Red Bull and State Water Heaters. I propose that all cars/teams registered for the race make their 2 qualifying laps as normal, the top 20 get a free pass into the race and the rest run out in 2 20 lap qualifier/heat races to fill the remaining 23 spot in the field. The only time that season points would come into play is during the rare occasion that weather prevents the normal event of qualifying. In those instances the current rule would prevail.
Thoughts?

For younger fans who don't know who he was he was the first MLB Commisioner ever. He was a no nonesense Commisioner who did everythign he could to clean up the game after the Black Sox Scandal of 1919. How do you think he wouldv'e handle the situation with Barry Bonds & all the other players who have used steroids?

Seahawks are a good team. Just a season removed from a Super Bowl they claim they should have won.

Steelers had the ball for more than twice as much time as Seattle. They could not move the ball even though the Steelers were missing their two most important defensive players (Hampton and Polamalu). They could not stop the Steelers from running. Roethlisberger was missing his top TWO recievers and finished the game with 13 straight completions for a 120 passer rating.

Amazing domination!

I would like to begin deer hunting. I am almost 24, and all I have ever done was fish as a kid. Heights weird me out, but if I was tied at the tree stand I would be ok. I don't have time to practice shooting now, but in the near future I will. It just seems like something I'd enjoy doing.

I think so, since you're dealing with 32 NFL teams and (at last check) 119 Division I-A college teams, with a lot of nasty rivalries thrown in for people to flap their gums about. I think there should be separate categories.
