I personally have a little 12-ft aluminum boat and go on a small freshwater lake, but have gone deep sea fishing on a charter and caught a 70-lb shark and that was awesome, although I prefer bass to shark . . .
just interested in other opinions.

I know what a hat-trick in cricket is. However, I want someone to answer this for me (with references if possible). Here is a situation - A bowler takes 2 wickets off the last deliveries of a match. Now, he takes one wicket off the very first delivery of the next match. Is that considered a hat-trick? In this same situation, for the next match, he does not bowl the first delivery but takes a wicket off his first delivery which is the first of the 8th over for example. Has he still taken a hat-trick?

i specifically DO want a revolver, because i already own a 9mm semi-auto.

i'd rather not spend more than $400 - $450max on it,
and i am open to getting just about any caliber.

i was leaning towards a .357 but will consider all of my options.
Thank you. =) =) =)

Me and a few mates went into town (Leeds) on saturday to watch the England match (would've gone to the local, but they weren't showing it; in a student area too!). First we went to walkabout, but was a bit pricey so went to wetherspoons (not a usual haunt, but was closest pub that defo showed it). Just like in walkabout, there was no sound. We asked them if they could turn the tv up a bit, they said no, so we did it ourselves. The barman came and turned it down, telling us that they're only allowed sound on one tv. We asked why, he didn't know.
So, why the hell don't pubs seem to have sound for the matches? It doesn't make sense (at least not to me).

Of LSU's remaining schedule, only 3 teams realistically have a shot to contest with LSU:

Kentucky, Alabama, Arkansas

Which one, if any, has the chance to beat the Tigers of LSU? Granted, parity is present after the last two weekends of upsets, so heck, Ole' Miss could do it...but let's be realistic. ^lol^

Hey I am curious if anyone could tell me how well a 3 1/2" 00 Buck would do stopping an animal? I was told it would tear a cougar or bear in half by the sales guy but I am going into a hostile area and I am wanting to make sure. I also carry 2 3/4" slugs that have a ballistic tip which I was told would puncture a bears skull with ease. Should I favor one of these rounds over the other? I prefer to have the 00 in the chamber but should I follow that with the slug or stick with 00's all the way? I know there are bears around in the area but possibly other things that would like to eat me so I want to make sure I come back! Thanks in advance for any advice.
Oh and I'm carrying one of Benelli's tactical guns.

That guy is AWFUL. Yeah, I know -- you beat the Jets, but Sunday before last, my son & his asthmatic friend with a leg brace beat the Jets, too.

I'm delighted that Eli sucks after pulling that BS trick on draft day a few years ago -- I wish nothing but failure on him. But how many seasons will the NYG franchise put up with his crappy performance? Time is ticking for several of their stars...Plaxico is 30 yrs old, Toomer is 33, Strahan will be 36 in November, and Shockey, altho just 27, has 1TD thru 5 games. Don't they need a real leader, not a guy who is "Archie's son/Peyton's brother" ?

In the last 10 matches he has been the highest scorer. Still we will keep talking against him and ask him retire. Look at teams like Srilanka, Jayasurya is still playing at the age of 39. Gilchrist, Mathew Hayden are also old. No one talks about them. Most of the players who retire at the age of 38 to 40. But it is only in India we keep putting pressure on our champions to get down at the age of 34. If Sachin can play for another 4 years, he would be completed 100 centuries in both forms of game. He will be the biggest in the name of the cricket. No one can cross him.

We want him to retire so that Ricky Ponting can cross all his records. Look at him, he is only 1 year younger. Ask their country, they will say he will play for another 6 years.

How about The Cardinal? Jim Harbaugh - Coach of the Year!

All that smack talk about USC being invincible is now a thing of the past. Parity has invaded college football, and no one is safe...not even the Trojans of Southern California.

National Championship - LSU versus Ohio State *or* Oklahoma. Thoughts?

Someone asked a question about playoff predicitions, and before playoffs even started he picked a best answer....

The guy he chose had the cubs in the WS, which can't happen since they're already out....

I picked ALL 3 SERIES that finished correctly, and If my picks go right I deserve best answer, or any1 with the most correct picks should.... But this guy doesn't...

Why do people do annoying things like this?

His QB rating against green bay was 97. Tom Brady was only 105. I think the bears would have won the superbowl if they had played Griese. He had a bad game against the lions, but he was rusty.

Can the grease lead the Bears to the playoffs?

On Saturday, a son & a nephew planned to run the Chicago Marathon the next morning. The weather forecast was very clear: it was going to be hot, no ifs, ands or buts. I told my wife that I was very concerned about the anticipated temperature, and expected that deaths could occur during this race, and that perhaps my family members could spend all of this energy doing something that was actually constructive and useful to society.

To nobody's surprise, a death did indeed occur during the race, and many were hospitalized. My nephew was reportedly puking his guts out by the half way point. Medical tents were full and supplies of water and Gatorade ran out. A decision was made at some point to tell the slower runners that they could no complete the race if they had not reached the half-way point by a certain time, and other runners were instructed to walk the last few miles of this race.

Clearly this race has nothing to do with good health. What is the point?
