That guy is AWFUL. Yeah, I know -- you beat the Jets, but Sunday before last, my son & his asthmatic friend with a leg brace beat the Jets, too.
I'm delighted that Eli sucks after pulling that BS trick on draft day a few years ago -- I wish nothing but failure on him. But how many seasons will the NYG franchise put up with his crappy performance? Time is ticking for several of their stars...Plaxico is 30 yrs old, Toomer is 33, Strahan will be 36 in November, and Shockey, altho just 27, has 1TD thru 5 games. Don't they need a real leader, not a guy who is "Archie's son/Peyton's brother" ?

I say he's awful based on QB rating (around 82 currently, I think?), and the 6 INT's through 5 games...oh, yeah, and history, which has proven him to be awful, too. George Blanda, right now, could do almost as well.

They could've had Philip Rivers -- and he won how many games last year? Was it 14?
Eli looks confused and/or frightenbed most of the time, or afflicted with some sort of palsy. After this season is over & Tom Coughlin gets canned, maybe the Giants can draft a QB who has skill, not just a famous surname. Otherwise they may as well just swap with the Bears & get Griese, or maybe go down to Tampa & get the Simms kid. See how far a family name will carry you then.

Eli Manning sucks and if any giants fans say they always believe in him thats a Lie. David tyree is not mr clutch you have to don't that more than just year. Strahan and the Dline won the Super bowl. Eli was just on the team. You guys were happy he didn't turn the ball over. Brandon Jacobs runs the ball good count him one play a game just enough to run someone over and then he falls down the rest of the game. The rookie RB is the better fit for the team.

Eli is a good QB. he will be a multi- Pro Bowl player. You obviously don't know talent when you see it. I wouldn't exactly call Toomer and Burress stars either. Shockey is one the most overrated players in the league. He can't catch for crap! I would be more worried about his inflated contract if I were you.The Giants are on a winning streak and you are bi*tching - what kind of fan are you?

He's awful? Eli is having his best year ever. His throwing is more accurate, and he's making better decisions. He's finally living up to his potential.
Football is a team sport, and the main objective is to win. It doesn't matter how old the players are, or who has how many TD catches. The team will make personnel changes as they see necessary.
If Eli isn't the guy, then who is available right now to replace him? Lorenzen? Good QB's don't grow on trees.
