In the last 10 matches he has been the highest scorer. Still we will keep talking against him and ask him retire. Look at teams like Srilanka, Jayasurya is still playing at the age of 39. Gilchrist, Mathew Hayden are also old. No one talks about them. Most of the players who retire at the age of 38 to 40. But it is only in India we keep putting pressure on our champions to get down at the age of 34. If Sachin can play for another 4 years, he would be completed 100 centuries in both forms of game. He will be the biggest in the name of the cricket. No one can cross him.
We want him to retire so that Ricky Ponting can cross all his records. Look at him, he is only 1 year younger. Ask their country, they will say he will play for another 6 years.

When Sachin was freely playing, we said he is careless..... Dravid is the wall
Today if Sachin can stand against the bowling attack of Austrlia and give us a great start, we will speak bad about him. If he would not have got that start, I don't think Dhoni or others could have played freely in the end.

India will never find fault in this man and i believe he earned that privilege in his country. Sachin is slowly losing his touch, which is understandable, age wears you down. I hope he is able to pull himself out of international cricket before he ruins his reputation. I recall with Sri Lanka, Jayasuriya was a loved man, towards the end of his career he played match after match without getting a big score, while others were axed, he was not, Eventually he did get the axe, but in my opinion it would have been more honorable if he walked away from the game when he knew the time was right (however, i understand that this may not have been possible for him due to political influence). I know how much Sachin is loved, and i hope he is able to walk away from the game when he feels the time is right.

People talk about ' Run Rate ' without thinking about Australia's innings.
They were having better run rate , and at one stage, if they have retained the wickets, they could have easily won this match. Similar was the situation in the 20/20 World Cup match with Australia.
Who won the match.
Why&How? It is because the opening batsmen gave a strong enough foundation&We did not loose early wickets.
What happened in the 2nd&3rd ODIs?
I am sure Sachin's innings was the difference [Ganguly also] between
the Victory and Loss.Because he was at one end others were able to bat without tension.
Since we expect the same level of game he was playing in 1998 , we are not happy with his present performance.
Even if you consider him for the Indian team, with his present performance, he will be way ahead of his younger competitors .!!!
I would like to ask a Qn to people talking of records.
What is the batting record of 'Don Bradman' ? Who has broken / can break, his batting average ???

I don't care what others say but i agree with you completely.
Its the habit of most people to praise a player when he plays well & if his performance deteriorates a little then they all forget his contributions & start blaming him, talking ill of him.
Well, if the player is giving continous bad performance then such players should be changed for new good players. But if the player is trying hard to improve & is also being able to give some good performance & also trying to regain his lost form then we should all appreciate his endeavour & encourage him. Sachin is a great player. He is master blaster & i strongly believe that he will regain back his lost form. :-)

Hi..
Records are meant to be broken..That's what winning is all about..However, because a great player, such as Sachin, is having a bad time of it right now..Everyone is turning against him like snakes..How soon they forget what this man has accomplished!
Everyone likes a winner, no one likes a loser..So everyone is asking him to retire..
Life is funny, Sachin might just surprise us all, and make a fantastic comeback..I hope he does!

Short memory, hypocrites, fickle minded, poor iq & many more are what makes those tongues wagging & criticising SACHIN.
Yes he was the player who saved our souls.
Whatever media conveys/highlights I strongly believe that our country still have that majority who will cause a mutiny/emergency/civil war if such comments or an action crosses the limit. VIVA SACHIN TENDULKAR!

Unfortunately people wants Sachin Tendulkar to score a century every time he goes to bat or perform at the same leven he had performed during earlier period of his carreer. If he fails to do so, people ask for his head, which is highly unfair.

my dear.. let me inform you that records are made to be broken someday if you think that no one will be able to break his record of centuries you are 100% wrong there are many young players from the world who have scored many centuries for example sangakara is one of them he is 4-5 years young than sachin and if sri lankans its kind of their tradition that players retire at age 38-40... like ranatunga, arvinda de silva, jayasuria still playing... so even if sahin plays for another 4 years his records will still be broken someday... he might stay as a kind for few years even after his retirement but i guess after 4 years of his retirement he wont be even seen in records list..

If only Dhoni and Uthappa had not more than made up the run rate imagine what would have happened.
Tendulkar need not score quickly can't he even take some quick singles to rotate the strike.
