12th November 2003 was the last time India played Australia at Chinnswamy Stadium at Bangalore. Australia played first and scored 347 for 2, and India could Score only 286 for 8 in the 50 overs. Gilchrist was the Man of the Match. The one you are referring to was played on 21st October 1966. India managed too win with 7 balls to spare in that low scoring match.In between these 2 matches these 2 countries have played one more match at the same venue on 25th March 2001.
