Is there a moment in the history of this franchise that offended the hockey gods and may have caused a curse to be placed on them? Since they weren't even in the league from 1934 to 1992, it seems silly to say they haven't won the Stanley Cup since 1927. But it's not just that they lose in the Playoffs, it's that they look horrible doing it. In order to be considered "cursed," a team has to have not just postseason, or late-regular-season, flops, but there should be bizarre moments that can't be rationally explained. And there needs to be that defining moment why: Selling Babe Ruth, not letting the goat into Wrigley Field, burning the Garden mortage in the bowl of the Cup, and so on. What's the Senators' "curse moment"?
