I just started running a week ago..( more like jogging I am trying to lose weight and get in shape) I ran just over 1.5 miles today before I had to quit. How many weeks do you recommend training before running a 5k?

Im in the heavyweight dev and currently aroun 85kg which is at the lower end, since heavy weight dev is 80+ what are some ways to gain weight, APART FROM heavy lifting at the gym, i already know this will help me gain muscle mass, i'd just rather not do it. Is it alright to eat junk food to gain weight also? i really hope someone says its ok :)

i think Jordan. he had to compete with three of the best teams ever. the lakers with Magic, the Bad boy pistons and the celtic with Bird. people really expected jordan to beat them by his fourth year. don't get me wrong lebron is amazing but the competition in basketball has gone down. the cavs played the wizards with nobody, the old nets, and the overrated pistons. the only one of these teams in the top ten power rankings was the pistons. lebron is ahead of the pace but i think the league is more behind in skill level than when jordan played.

Im a proud Canadian, but I absolutely hate the Senators. I am a hardcore Leaf fan. I would be pretty bummed out if Alfredson won a cup before Sundin. Alfredson is a joke, and maybe the worst captain ever. I also don't want Neil or Spezza to win a cup. I am very excited that Anaheim is killing them tonight(6-2) and are going to win the cup. What about you?

I can't believe nascar don't going to do nothing until Friday about Kurt Busch. Get caught cheatting or a part not approval by Nascar your fined, points taken away,crew chiefs sitting out races. Then some clown who mad almost hit a crew member on pit road and nascar waiting several to do something about it. Come on nascar.

I see that alot of people hit their backhand with just one hand and i've noticed that to be very interesting.....because i've always hit my backhand with both hands and found it to be very well but when i watch the pros play or even other people play i see some hit with one hand.....why is that?

please dont say "it doesnt matter who starts the raiders suck" or anything in that manner. i know its mainly between mccown and russell, but ive heard that kiffin has been impressed with walter. their defense was already great and their offense has improved with a new qb, some new running backs, new receivers, a new tight end, and a few new offensive linemen as well; basically every offensive position has been revamped

Alright, I got work tomorrow and I may go to bed before the end of the game, so I just wanna say my piece before people start rumours...

I want to congratulate the Ducks on their win, they are a great team and I got nothing against them, and I like the fact they won as opposed to a team that has won it so many times before...

I'm especially happy to see Teemu get a ring because the guy is just a class act all the way...

As far as Ottawa goes, this is by far their best season in team history, so I cant be mad, I think they just went up against a team full of SC finalists who werent going to be denied...

When you look at this: http://nhlnumbers.com/ott.html, you see that the Sens arent losing any big names next year, so they still have time to win a Cup and I think they will within the next 3 years

I noticed that most of the Ducks fans who have been on here for a while (Jenni and Erica) are good fans and I got no problem with them, so I hope they celebrate the win big time...

Hey its going to be my senior year of v ball... and im kinda worried while only 3 of the girls from my JV team for grade 11 was on club team and 5 other girls from senior and one from anouther town... im still worried about senior try outs... i dident make it last year i came in from a differnt school and town... i was on the senior team in the 10th grade there but i JUST had my wisdom teeth taken out at try outs and was pretty much high on the court and nervous from the T3s... we just had awards and i dident get one... i know im a good player but i find some of the girls here are favoured im normally a power player... 5'7'' and a half, i think im good but in club i player right side cause im good at blocking... i know it would be easier at trying out for setter cause im taller then the other setters and good at blocking but i love power... what should i do... and if i dont make it do you think i should ask if i could train with the team and do stats on the bench?

I come from a country where to get a hand gun you need to be a member of a club and you must abide my a swag of rules including not being aloud to shoot it unless you are at a registered range. Just to own guns you have to have an interview with a safety officer, you get your record checked and have to sit a seminar and a test. then you have to prove you have a safe storage system. you also need a licence to buy ammo.

Even a military style weapon with a folding stock or a mag over 10 shots is a special class

I am interested in knowing how easy it is to buy a gun in USA - what you have to do to get one. - what legal requirements are involved in storing them - can you carry them in public - and why those that have them feel they need them as they aren't good for hunting.

I am not slamming your gun laws, just interested in your thoughts Thanks heaps
