I think the Cavs take it in 5 or 6. They just have too much heart and will to win, plus with Gibson shooting like he has been, and the fact that LeBron will not stop unless he wins the Championship, I dont think even Tim Duncan and the Spurs could stop them. The Cavs are like the Warriors, they are designed to specifically beat another team in the NBA, and the Cavs seem like they were built to beat the Spurs, just like the Warriors were built to beat the Mavericks.

I think its pretty likely for the series to go to 7 games. However, if the cavs cant pull off the wildly improbable by winning the series in 5 (closing out at home), their chances diminish significantly trying either to close out, or avoid being closed out when on the road.
Predictions (for # of games and outcome)
Spurs in 4 - nil
Cavs in 4 - nil
Spurs in 5 - 10%
Cavs in 5 - 15%
Spurs in 6 - 45%
Cavs in 6 - 7%
Spurs in 7 - 20%
Cavs in 7 - 3%
You can see i give the Spurs the credit they deserve as heavy overall favorites (75%-25%). Also I give them the advantage in games 6 and 7 that they deserve as the more experienced team (65%-10%). The most likely scenario for a cavs series victory is to sneek out a victory at San Antonio, and then hold serve at home (I only give it a 15% chance of happening).

I've thought all along, Cavs in 7. split the first 2 in SA, Cavs take 2 of 3 at home, then another split in the last 2. I think the format is a disadvantage for the team with home court but as a cleveland fan, having lost and lost and lost, I say so what.
cavs in 7! LeBron series MVP

I hate to say this, but the Cavaliers are not the best team in the league today. Except for Lebron James, no one is consistent enough offensively to win championship. I can see the series to be competitive, and I hope to see the series go to 7 games. Lebron James is good enough to make the series interesting, but I have to go with Spurs, even though I love to see the underdog team wins. After seeing the Mavs lost in first round, at this point, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!!!
