Lots of running (sprints and longer runs too) and lift weights if you are in High School of higher.

doesnt ur school offer Weight training sessions?.. its a must lol working out at home isnt really hard because theres no one that can push you around and push u to the limits.. my school has 2 hrs everyday for WT 6:30am to 830 it sucks but yea its a good workout we do 1:30 minutes of weight training ..benching,squat and all that then last 30 we run the 40 8 times it sucks but keeps us in shape...
if ur school doesnt offer sessions just run the 40 about 8 times a day u don thave to time it just try as hard as u can and if u feel like u got better at it time ur self..
and just do weight lifting and such.. jog for 30 minutes even if ur a lineman it will keep ur heart rate goin good luck man

here what u should do:
Warmup(streching , jumping allthat)
2.Weight Lifting
3.40 yrd
4. cool down and jog for 15-30 min
5.stretch again and rest.
6. eat lots of protein after this chicken is good for this so keep it up.
u SHOULD be sore from this if ur not ur not working hard enough.. if ur so sore that u cant work out ur body will get used to it.. if ur sore and stretch u willl forget so keep working

Im doing the same thing, so are 2million other teens in this great nation, preparing for hs football, but what sets you apart is what you do on the field. Many times i see kids who think there are all that "bc they got a y card and they push it in 5x a week". What you need to do is focus on pratice. GO HARD, intesity is the key. Wow your choaces with you uncannie ability. Be the first one on the field and the last one off.

Work on stamina before and after sprinting and power lifting workouts! Being able to get a lot out of little effort helps prevent injuries and promotes consistency. That is my one of my regrets with my workouts while I was in high school.

yeah, start eating carbs, you need carbs to build up the correct cardio workout plan, and to help you muscles grow. Without carbs, you body will burn off protien, and your muscles can not grow. IF you eat carbs, your body will burn the carbs off, and rebuild muscle with the protein
