Whenever the laws in the bible is mentioned, christians immediately brush the issue beside by saying jesus already fulfilled all the laws and therefore they're not binded to them. But at the same time, christians never fail throw "cherry-picked" verses out of context and throw them at anyone who passes by. Christians also claim that their bible is their ultimate moral guide. But since christians aren't binded to any of the laws, how can it be considered as a moral guide?
For example, christians are quick to disregard verses such as this, "Women must be quiet and cover their heads in church for it is shameful.....". But at the same time they will throw verses such as this at any unfortunate victim, "Homosexuals are an abonimation to God"(I can really feel the morality in this verse among others).
What are your thoughts on this?
