All denominations of Christian (there are many) that I know of don't believe in a "hell", to my understanding, they believe those who are evil shall be burnt and everyone else goes to a New Earth, or "heaven" on this planet.

False. I am an atheist and i believe and have faith in the power of positive thinking, the power of the mind and being kind and compassionate to your fellow man, the power of a loving family unit ............ I am not afraid of anything, i can't afford to be because i have three beautifull young children to raise into strong and compassionate human beings ...... it's a veritable minefield out there, one cannot afford the luxury of fear. Besides, how can one be afraid of something that isn't tangible??

Belief in a deity is a personal matter. I doubt very much that most atheists are scared that they might be wrong. It takes a pretty strong commitment to say that there is no God. The only thing most atheists are really afraid of is fundamentalists - time has proven that they can be dangerous, and will commit violent acts to back up what they sometimes believe - Eric Rudolph was one of them.

I would have to say False.
It may be true for some, but you can't stereotype them. Many people chose to be atheists for many different reasons. I think Atheists are brave.
Those who believe in religion "know" where they are going when they die. Religion to them offers them an orderely explanation for things they don't know and things they will never know for sure. Atheists on the other hand accept things more or less as they are, and are comfortable with this level of uncertainity. Or at least some of them did when they made their transition to atheism.

False: for one thinking we are ALL deep down anything is an assumption and not a very good one either. I am not afraid of anything really. I welcome the truth, weather there is a god or not. I would prefer there not be but im not going to deny it if theres truth before me. I would however never pray to him, i think if he wants that he is just an egotistical bastard and should leave me alone.

False. I would say that Christians are more scared of God (the whole hellfire and brimstone issue).
Atheism isn't an aversion to God. It's simply a disbelief. Why try and make it more complicated than it is?

That's FALSE.
I would say the Christians and Catholics are the ones that are scared.
They believe in religion because they 're afraid of going to a bad place after they die. So they believe in a lie called "Heaven."
We as Atheist have nothing to fear but mother nature and reality.

False. They believe there is no God so what is there to be scared of.
They are as certain that there is no God, as religious are that there is a God. They are certain in their belief so what is not to know.
Religious know their is a God in their beliefs and Athiests know there is no God in their beliefs.

I think it is the Christians, not the Atheists, who are scared---they teach believe in Jesus or go to hell. Their religion is based on the fear of going to hell.
Answer-false. Atheists live and let live and live to accept what is.
