December 25Th is just a guess on mans part of when to celebrate the birth of Jesus. And I hate to inform the writer of the article Jesus was here before Newton. I know allot of people that were born the same day, does that discredit Newton?

the answer will very much depend if you are asking from the science or religious point. Both are from different ends of a spectrum. one can give a religious answer if Newton is more important or a scientific answer if Jesus was more important....(answering without seeing the link)

Well, Newton was a real person. Jesus exists only in fertile imaginations. I'm going to have to go with Newton.

They are both important, but in vastly different ways. Belief in Christianity is a huge part of the culture on our planet, even if you are not a Christian.

Most Christians are completely unaware that a 4th Century bishop decided to change the date of the birth of Jesus to coincide with the biggest Pagan festival of the year, and if you tell them this historical tidbit, they either think you are making it up or are lying. Most Christians don't know the history of the origins of their church, but then again, most people aren't anywhere near as educated about history as they should be - one of my personal "pet peeves".

the 2nd Coming isn't "invisible". After the time of the Antichrist's reign Jesus Christ Returns. This journey is termed the 2nd Coming. Both, I think, are now dead.

Jesus brought in the holy trinity ( a strange concept)

Newton brought in his Third Law (a strange concept). Newton was loathed. He was an irrascible bigot.

Jesus was loved.

I vote for Newton

Newton was a scientist who greatly contributed to the knowledge of men. Jesus saved zillions of souls by being tortured beyond comprehension. Are you serious?

No. They do not bring the same message.
Jesus delivers a peace message, whatever you think about religion, what I never saw in Newton.

Disagree. Newton would've also disagreed. He was a devout believer himself, if a bit of an oddball.
