No I didn't laugh at them. It's my fault they believe it in the first place.
No my beliefs are not as naive as a child's...sometimes I wish they were.

They are kids, the lack of the ability to think about such things and see that it doesn't make sense doesn't last long. May as well let them enjoy a little magic for the short time that it actually is "real" to them.

I don't even remember a specific age I stopped believing, I just remember when that logical thinking slowly developed and being able to think about the details, and came to the conclusions that Santa is not possible.

Many of my beliefs and experiences are as those of a child.
Some are not, and I am sorry I've lost it.
Children see a lot more than adults do, they are less influenced.
And no, I never discouraged any child's beliefs.
By the way with kids 'Santa' stuff is just one of many subconscious ways to rebel against us adults trying to take away their ability to see further than is accepted in our society. Kids know that you put a present under the tree, not Santa.

I don't and here's why. Children are as innocent as the character they believe in. That's good enough for me. When they lose their ability to believe in Santa, it makes them more like the rest of us and in some ways that is sad.

No because I did not want to ruin the wonder of Christmas for them. Let them be children

No.
I worry about issues of truth, myth and epistemology.

But then I did as a child of about seven or eight, only I didn't know the word "epistemology".
If your parents will lie to you, who can you trust?
