I posted a satirical question a few minutes ago asking how I can be more biblically feminine and one of the answerers told me to read Provers 31. To be honest, I never read it before till now and I was amazed at the beauty and wisdom beneath those words.

I just can't help but see the irony. My wickedness was answered with wisdom which left me in awe.

(No, I still don't believe in God or the Bible, but I've learned something new about myself)

Has anything similiar ever happened to you?

Think of this.... All the water that is on the earth is all the water that ever was or ever will be.
that is unless some is introduced by some alien entity.

Same with matter.

So when we are conceived and the sperm enters the egg and the egg divides we become a complex cellular organism.
From the conception stage to birth is a giant accumulation of mass and matter.

Is it matter that has always been here or is it new?

... then why are there people who say they have been to hell and came back?

There are even little Christian documentaries about this that people send me all the time when I ask if hell is real. The people in those videos say they've been to hell, came back, and they converted to Jesus. Could you explain this to me? If you can, how is that fair for other people who haven't come back but went to this so-called hell?

How long should a Neophyte wait before Dedicating/Self-Initiatiating himself to the Wiccan path
(-I don't like using the term self-initiation for obvious reasons-)

I have been studying Wicca and Witchcraft, along with other religions, for the better part of four years.
I personally still don't feel quite ready right now for dedication, but, i still would like to hear your opinions on what you feel an appropriate length of time would be before dedicating onself to a religion, or, rather, to Wicca.

Blessed Be!

Somewhere in the bible there is a scripture I cannot find but heard many many times.

I would like to know where it is and what the scripture says please.

It is from the Sermon on the Mount. It is something like this.

You heard it said to love your friends and hate your enimies, I say unto you, Love everyone.

That is the best I can think of.

Thank you for your help in advance.

I'm told Jesus saves all who believe in Him and accept Him as saviour.

Some people will accept Jesus now but most won't. God, therefore, knows the majority of His children will abandon Him during this lifetime. Then judgement day comes and many people will suddenly believe in Jesus. After judgement, everyone will accept Jesus in the afterlife, especially if they're in a lake of fire knowing why they're there. By this time everyone will bow down towards Jesus.

So then, who ever said Jesus' salvation suddenly ends on Judgement day? All I know is if you accept Jesus you will be saved, and in the afterlife people will have to accept Jesus especially if they're in pain. Even if the lake of fire is eternal/a long time, it doesn't mean anybody's going to STAY in it. If they're saved, they'll be let out.

Do you agree/disagree? References appreciated.

15:32 When the Israelites were 41 in the wilderness they found a man gathering wood on the Sabbath day. 42 15:33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and to the whole community. 15:34 They put him in custody, because there was no clear instruction about what should be done to him. 15:35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must surely be put to death; the whole community must stone 43 him with stones outside the camp.” 15:36 So the whole community took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, 44 just as the Lord commanded Moses.

1 Corinthians 14

As in all the churches of the saints, 14:34 the women should be silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Rather, let them be in submission, as in fact the law says. 14:35 If they want to find out about something, they should ask their husbands at home, because it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in church.

On Youtube i have seen some Wiccans talk about Fluffy Bunny's (as it seems to be a popular subject) and someone said that any wiccan who likes the TV show Charmed is a Fluffy Bunny.

I have to ask, Why???

and now i have to say "It's a TV show! It's Fiction, it's ment to be entertaining, just because they throw the word Wicca around doesn't mean they are actually trying to represent the wiccan faith on there. Please don't hate the show for that!"

According to these people, I'm a fluffy bunny! ^_^ I'm Fluffay!
Blessed be!

The way John writes Jesus' words feels like I'm not reading Jesus' words at all. They seem completely out of whack with what Jesus taught on earth and they're in a completely different literary style.

I can understand if they're paraphrased, but if that's so then should people be so hung up on the meaning of every single letter?

I'm reading the Book of John right now and Jesus never says anything about Hell. He says things like "Whoever follows me will never die" and "If you follow me you will live forever". Is there any actual Scripture refering to Hell? Remember, "punishment" and "punishing" are two different things. Maybe there's Heaven and oblivion, but not Hell..... ?

Due to some similarities/origins? Since being apart for millenia had never brought peace? Will there be less problems and terrorism become history? Consider::
Christianity with Islam, Buddhism with Hinduism.
Please treat this question on an intellectual and exploratory basis, just for the purpose of discussion.

During the church age(ended in 21 May 1981), we were taught that Hell that would be a place were the unsaved would spend their eternity.

Hell means total destruction. Jude 1:7:

"Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves ove to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

Remember that passage that teach that don´t fear those who can kill the body, but fear Him that can destroy both body and soul.

May God have mercy on us.

Uneducated X-Box 360 gamers (Christian followers) might say the 360 was the first console to ever make triggers for a controller, and will say that the PS3 makers (Muslims) just copied it and screwed it up, right?

Well, then here comes Sega fans (Jews) who know the Sega Dreamcast had triggers first, right? Wrong.

The Nintendo 64 fans (pagans) will definitely correct all of you on that by simply mentioning the letter "Z." Ha ha ha ha. Fill in the other blanks, and you'll start seeing the picture rolling in.

I don't care if you don't think this is clever... but I sure got a laugh out of it thinking about it myself. If you do too, then so much the better, right? =]
