Liking Charmed does not make you a Fluffy Bunny. However, basing your Wiccan practice off of it is incredibly Fluffy...and there are people who do so.
And as far as I'm concerned about the show, if they're not trying to represent the Wicca faith, they shouldn't be using the word "Wicca." It's really that simple. It's like calling a cat a poodle and then, when corrected, say "well, I wasn't saying the creature is like other poodles."

A fluffy bunny Wiccan is the kind who goes way overboard trying to follow the Wiccan Rede, to the point of basically blocking their own magic from even having a chance. And they have sort of forgotten that not everything is cute and fluffy in life, sometimes it gets a little mean. It gets annoying for others so they have been labeled that, must say I am guilty of using that term myself. I do think it's great for beginners to be fluffy bunny though, it keeps them in line until they figure out the idea of balance. I don't think it means that you watch Charmed, just that you might believe all that you see on it lol. I watched it for years (until they killed off Prue and changed the others) but I'm not a fluffy bunny :)

I don't hate Fluffy Bunnies, but I do hate Charmed - and it's NOT because I'm a Wiccan or because they are trying to mis-represent someone's faith. I hate Charmed because it is utter crappy drivel that I would not force my cat to be in the same room with. I would as soon watch an episode of Barney & Friends as watch Charmed, simply because they are based around the same concepts.

I believe it's one of the things Wiccans will have to be wary of. It's a sign that Wicca is becoming organised. Once a faith becomes organised, it becomes religion and then the segregation starts. This Tradition doesn't believe what that Tradition believes so they must be less valid as a faith. Anyone who doesn't follow our path must be wrong. It's interesting to see many Wiccans and Pagans starting to morph into the very things they dislike about the major Religions.

Don't sweat it, all religions have at least a few intolerant people. Just because you like a particular TV show that doesn't make you fluffy.

BB,
I've only got one problem with "Fluffies". & this is when people believe they represent all Pagans.
We are all different and have all arrived on our personal path from & for different reasons. I readily admit my path does not represent ALL wiccans (& pagans) either.

There's nothing fluffy or bunny about Wiccans. They are witches who practice witchcraft - the art of magic. This is the art of controlling people &/or nature by the use of spells, rituals etc. Thoroughly condemned by the BIble because it usually means involvement with the demonic.
