Life is too important to be reduced to "sacred".
Compared with life, "sacred" is trivial and shallow.

Life that has experiences (human, many of the "higher" animals) is especially important, but all life is tremendously precious.

I am not a religion, but i adhere to a religion :) lol

I'm a Wiccan, and yes life is sacred, Nature is sacred, all things are sacred.

The creator of the Tradition of Wicca that i Adhere to told us to go hug a tree ^_^ lol, i have yet to do this, but, this shows that tree's are sacred to us, no specific ones just the barky ones ;)

All things in nature are considered sacred to the Wiccans.

1. No religion for me. Life is sacred but those life whose counciousness is at higher level from where he/she sees that all humans are similar to me and feels love for them. Ordinary humans are just above the animal and there is potential to grow at higher level so grown up humans are sacred.

There is only one religion, that's "To have faith in God" and thats where I belong, its known as Vaishnava and we believe that God is one and only One; though we may call Him by different name. The most sacred life is that of human being, provided we keep it pure and sacred. Among all lives Human life is best as we are most intelligent among these and we know or can feel what is good or bad.

I guess I'm a pantheist, and I think all life is sacred.

But death is part of the cycle of life, it is required to continue life.

So in that sense, I am opposed to the taking of life, unless it is to support more life. Unless there's a mosquito thats really bugging me...
