No, I don't believe in hell but Mormons believe that you don't spend forever in hell. You're just there long enough to pay for your "sins" and accept the Mormon religion. They call spirit prison or something like that.

Do you really believe anything a Mormon tells you? These are people who claim their "prophet" Joseph Smith found Golden Tablets in a hill, conveniently near his home, which the angel Moroni told him to translate into the Book of Mormon.
The book says that some Native American people descended from groups of Semitic people, including Ancient Israelites, who emigrated from the Old World by ship over 2,000 years ago. After interpretation, he gave the tablets back to the angel Moroni to return them to heaven. The Mormons also had polygamy in their doctrine from the beginning, and only dropped if for political reasons. Some Mormon sects still practice it.

Anyway, the Mormons also believe that polygamy is good and acceptable by God . . . and they are wrong about that as well.
Along with the short-term Hell and redemption when you become a Mormon . . . I don't think so!
But, I will say that one sin is not worse than the other. Sin is sin, so your, my, anybody's premarital sex is no different than murder in the eyes of our Lord and Savior. But, thanks to the Lord's great mercy we can be forgiven for these sins if we repent and ask God to forgive us. Jesus says that there is only one sin that can never be forgiven and that is to blasphemy the Holy Spirit.

Mormons do not believe that premarital sex is as bad as murder. Are you sure you're an atheist? I thought they were committed to things like facts and reason? Seems like a little research would go a long way...

No for sin is sin and if you choose hell that's were you stay. But not to worry for I lost mind very early also was divorced twice and wasn't till I was 48 that I repented and was baptized. Now I was brought up a Catholic but I was a good one for I never read the scriptures and I believed I wasn't bad enough for hell (purgatory). But now I have a relationship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God bless in your walk.

When I was a mormon, sins were defined as such: Murder, bad very bad, lying, bad, but not as bad as murder, murder was unforgiveable. In the chirstian community, a sin is a sin is a sin, any sin will kepp you out of heaven, this was hard for me to grasp as a christian because of the mormon mentality of sin, but people sin everyday. So if you are looking at it from a mormon view, you have not committed murder, therefore there is forgiveness. Suicide was up there with murder and therefore a lot of mormons would say the person had lost thier minds, for who would kill themselves and want to lose their eternal progress in becoming a God.
As for losing face with God, God is a loving God, and when I became Atheist I could still feel his presence even when I tried to ignore him (and satan) as if they did not exist. It was Gods way of letting me know that even when I had given up on HIm, He had not given up on me.

Mormons say a lot of things. A lot of those things don't make any sense. Mormons wear "magic/holy undergarments"... that makes sense, right? There is no hell, except for the small town in Michigan that is actually named "Hell" - and no, I'm not kidding! Personally, I think premarital sex is a lot better than murder - my grandparents were murdered, one of my friends was murdered... Mormons have got it wrong - just like many other religions.

I'm not sure, but can people still be saved after judgement day? I don't think so.
So once you're in hell(as far as I know) you're stuck there.

If what they say is true you might as well keep on doing it because if you go to hell that's it. Won't matter how many times you do it. But if you are an atheist you can keep doing it because you wont be going anywhere will you. You have the best of both worlds. Lucky you.

No you're not an atheist, as most are not that bright and you seem smart enough not to have to lump yourself with those 3rd world countries that didn't learn how to read until the last century.
With that said, I don't think math is your strong suit. More than likely you'd have to serve eternity plus one. It's called, "outer darkness."
BTW, why did you wait so long to have sex if you're so easy... I think you're bragging because you're still afraid of it. Was your mom a slutty too, or is this not genetic?

I am not Mormon but if you break one commandment, it is just as if you broke all of them. Just ask for forgiveness and you won't go to hell.
