Nothing. But God does have a plan for his creation. He brought it forth from nothing and is responsible for it. We imperfect can not understand Perfect. Keep asking though, we have a free will that He respects.

Think if the Old Testament as the Original Testament. The only difference is that Christianity added the birth, death and resection of Jesus and they called it the New testament. I hate to say it but man created both bibles not G-d. The stories about Jesus were written many many years after he died.

In order to give man the possibility of being saved through grace. All the Old Testament, points to Jesus Christ, even in Genesis!
And to the poster that said the New Testament books were written many years after Jesus Christ's death... the Gospel of mark was written mid 30AD to early 40AD as was Corinthians and Galatians. You are repeating what you have heard, not truth.

People ... not God ... needed the old testament.

God does not make mistakes. People do.

The old testamant proves that man can only be saved by virtue of a holy redeemer, who is Jesus Christ.

Otherwise, the ten commandments would have been sufficient.

They were not.

God never makes mistakes. People makes mistake when they mock him out of ignorance. If they don't believe in him, then why are they taking the time of making fun of Christians and Him...
