Muslim men and women traditionally

1. keep their older parents with them and serve them as best
as they can
2. Men protect and provide for their wives and children and
keep their wives home to be full time mothers.
3. Women take care of children, home and protect their
husbands property and their own chastity. In absence of
their husbands they do not allow any non-Mehram (with
whom a woman is allowed to marry) to enter in house.
4. Men do not enter in the house of a Muslim friend if friend
himself is not home.
5. Men and women do not spend time alone with any
person of opposite sex with whom they are allowed to
marry. They do not ride in the car with opposite sex
unless they are spouse or family members like uncle,
aunt, br or sis.
6. Muslims always visit a sick Muslim in to his house or in
hospital in presence of other members of family. It is
considered a good deed to bond with each other
7. Muslim men always attend funeral of a Muslims.
Shouldering a coffin of a Muslim is a deed worth reward
from Allah.
8. Muslims give gifts to each others and to children on
religious holidays like Eidul Fiter and Eidul Azha.
9. Muslims do not drink alcoholic beverages and neither
they use wine in their food. Since alcohols r considered
Haram (prohibited) for Muslims, they do not involve in
brewing, selling and distributing alcoholic drinks of any
kind. Muslims do not sell or eat products of pork as it is
prohibited for Muslims.
Unfortunately some Muslims have started selling liquors
in western countries.
10. Muslims do not take interest on loans neither they
involve in any interest bearing transactions with Banks
except where it is not possible to avoid transaction
involving interest like financing a car or house.
11. Muslim women never try to steal any one's husband.
Neither men involve with married women. Such acts
are considered major sin and punishment in Shariah
laws for such acts in death.
12. If a girl is engaged with some one. Others never try to
break the engagement to marry that girl. It is considered
very bad thing to do. Prophet Mohammad prohibited to
do such a thing.

13. Muslims are family loving people. If father dies,
generally older brothers will provide for younger siblings,
pay for their education and pay for their weddings also.

14. Muslim younger boys and girls traditionally are trained to
show lot of respect for elders, teachers and older folks.
Out of respect younger ones do not smoke or use slang
language in front of older person in age even if difference
in age is 7 years.

15.Geneally Muslims are good and faithful spouses. They
seldom want divorce unless two persons can not live
together. A Muslim can not marry an ex-wife after
divorce unless she gets married with some one else and
is divorced from second husband also.
16. Muslims never fight custody battles in courts. They obey
Shariah Laws as God revealed to Prophet Mohammad.
Shariah Laws say the children under 10 (girl), 12 (boy)
will remain with mother and father must pay the child
support and alimony to wife. After age 10 and 12
children must be given to father if he wants to keep them.
These are the rules of Allah and Muslims follow the rules
religiously with least hard ships. A boy after 12 needs to
be with father to learn to be a man and girl must move
to father's house so he takes care of her educaion and
marriage. It is also for protection of a girls if mother
remarrys. Girls can not live with step father.
17. In case of death of both parents any one can raise the
orphans. But Shariah Laws prohibit changing names of
parents of orphans in the official records (birth
certificates). A Child must always be called/told who
were his/her parents and must be called with their
original last name or son of biological father.

I may have missed some but it is too long already. So I stop here. .

They might be (extremely) misguided, but they are still muslims. that is true that allah knows best. but we must remember that there are many different shias like how there are many different sunnis. There are shias who don't those crazy stuff (such as beating themselves.) 2 me, anyone who says the first kalima is a muslim. However many of them do shirk. . . (such as going around Husain's/ali's body as if was the kaaba). We could only wish that allah guides them

A Muslim is generally a family man. Loving his/her spouse and taking good care of kids. He has to be friendly and considerate to his class mates and office fellows. Keeps distance from opposite sex and regular in prayers.

It is in fact God's love, which takes him/her to his door, five times a day, always asking for his mercy and love and ability to love Him.
He not only loves Almighty God, but also those whom God loves, and those who love God.

He is usually contented, always relying on his Creator.
He does not care about a loss saying " Allah Karim".
And he does not become proud if he is rich and influential.
Because he knows both conditions are a trial from the Lord.
For such people God Himself has said:

" Be informed! The friends of Allah have no fear nor will they be grieved ."

May Allah include you and me among His friends.
