I believe that mary was a bad mother.
She never said "Jesus, I love you" or even bothered to say that Joseph was not the true father of Him.

She did alot of things that werent motherly, try to prove me wrong, but all she did was worship GOD not JESUS, son of GOD.

PS: I thought of this coz i was boreed. no negative comments, and if you HAVE to say something negative, do it in a nice way. (NOT "this sucks [please])

If "Evolution" is true, and we did in fact evolve from apes, why can I go to the zoo and still see "Apes" in a cage? Were they the unlucky ones? Did they miss the evolution-bus? And why have we stopped "Evoluting"? If we came from apes through evolution, shouldnt we have heads with 900 pound brains in them by now after all these millions of years of evolution? I think the truth of the matter is that our friend "Darwin" was into some heavy s.h.i.t Weather it was Heroin, Cocaine, Acid, Maybe all 3, But he sure had some hellacious hallucinations that is a fact I know for sure!!!! evolution, HA!

I don't see the contradictions.
Through God all things are possible, right?
When God created Adam, couldn't that process of molding him from the earth have taken place of millenia? And wouldn't that be viewed by us as evolution. When the bible states that the earth was created in 7 days and man in 1, why couldn't that 1 day represent centuries?

This is the religious section, right? The section where subjects as war, abortion, sexuality, world politics, euthanasia, eternal punishment and the meaning of life and afterlife are discussed, right?

How is it possible that everybody remains so friendly in this section, with all those tough subject? Subjects with so many possible different opinions. How do you people manage to stay so civilized?

Sorry, I get so tired of 5 times an hour reading (and every time disagreeing with) "why is everybody so mean to each other?", I figured it was time to post a question like this.

of the Virgin Mary and Child, I am personally a Pagan but I thought it would be in keeping with the holiday. I was told to stand down as this might be construed as "Pollitically Incorrect". So, the question is have we gone to far in judgement of what is proper and what is not?

From my personal experience, I never truly understood my need of God until I went through a horrible period of my life. Science, philosophy and theology meant absolutely nothing to me during that time. His presence was what pulled me through. Jesus was there suffering with me. Call my faith prejudiced because a part of it is based on evidence of what I experienced, but He was there when I was broken.

As I observe people now, I find it ironic how most objections to God's existence from the problem of suffering come from people who are quite comfortable with life, while those who do experience such harm seem to become stronger believers rather than stronger agnostics.

If you are on your dying bed, terrified of being alone, the most important thing to you is not an explanation but another's presence. Someone to sit with you. God was that someone. For that reason, I love him.

Do you believe in possibilities or absoluteness? In other words, do you believe that your religion or they way you think is the absolute or do you believe that other belief systems has a possibility?

Back in the 50s, there was a religious advocate that would pre-screen movie scenes and he could object if it was too risque.
They have gradually morphed into doing whatever they want, including cursing, sex, and intoxification with drugs or alcohol. What is the reason for this?
