nature in wanting a species to act out in behaviors or having to KILL something to make up to it for their bad behaviors otherwise called "SIN?"

I meant, "Doesn't this show it's INFERIOR" not "Does this show it's INFERIOR"

ROLE PLAY- I have read the answers on here and many don't get the question without the religious brainwashing.

Judaism;
Man-I have sinned god.
God-bring me one of your lamb and sacrifice it to atone for your sins

Christianity-
Man- I have sinned Lord.
God- It is why I sent you my Son to die on the cross for you.

Psychology
Man- I have sinned Lord.
God- Why don't you seek help for some of those bad behaviors and change them.

Sacrifice? Should be a "personal: one made to be RESPONSIBLE to themselves and others to CHANGE BAD behaviors or sin NOT one laid in God's lap.

If one believed that a blood sacrifice was necessary before God would forgive you, then even one example where God forgave without a blood sacrifice would prove that this idea is UnBiblical. There are many such examples, but the most interesting is found in the Book of Leviticus. The reason this is so interesting is that it comes right in the middle of the discussion of sin sacrifices, which is found in the first chapters. In Leviticus 5:11-13, it states, "If, however, he cannot afford two doves or two young pigeons, he is to bring as an offering for his sin a tenth of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering." One can also see that one does not need a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins in the Book of Jonah 3:10. There, the Bible simply states that God saw the works of the people of Ninevah. Specifically it says that the works God saw were that they stopped doing evil, and so God forgave them. There are plenty of other examples, and the idea that one needs a blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of sins is UnBiblical.

perfect question.

If you listen to world famous anthropologist Rene Girard, you will find that sacrifice is what separeted the early human and animal worlds. It explains why early hunting was ritualised, the need for domestication to ensure a supply for sacrificial animals, and agriculture to feed those animals. Infact, he says, all human civilisation is based on the sacrificial system.

The sacrificial system always needs a scapegoat, and, in order for it to work people have to be ignorant of the fact that scapegoats are innocent. In early societies tensions were relieved following a sacrifice and a relative peace was restored to the society as the need for vengance was satisfied. The scapegoat was later deified and worshipped because peace was attributed to his death. This way Girard explains animal worship.

Jesus is the ultimate, perfect scapègoat of humanity (see link for explanation) - the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world. But the good news of the Bible is that he was innocent - "a reed He did not break and a stone He did not leave overturned" - the victim was innocent because He was in fact whom he claimed to be.

If the scapegoat was innocent, then sacrifice becomes murder, hence the notion of SIN, and it undermines the "scapegoat mechanism". The entire Bible can be interpreted in this light, starting from the fall of Adam and Eve. The Old Testament alluded to the fact that victims are innoccent (see link...) but it was the New testament that gave a dramatic demonstaration to humanity through the passion of Christ.

Blood sacrifice was the way it was understood as the proper way for Jews to atone for sins, at the time when the worship of idols by pagans were done through blood sacrifices also. This was their way of showing to God that they believe in Him alone and not the pagan idols. And also, if you are interested to know, these were the 2nd level believers of a One God. For, there was this pious group of Jews who never practiced blood sacrifice and lived exceptionally different from the ways of common Jews. They kept hidden the original teachings of Moses to protect this pure heritage of Truth from being changed by unscrupulous editings. It was only in the 20th century that these hidden materials were opened to the world to read.

No because these parameters were established to show us there is no one that is perfect before a Holy God including you !!! We are all sinners without forgiveness, that is until the prophesied Messiah paved the way !!! The perfect lamb who could stand before a Holy God in our place !!! When the Father would look at you He would see the perfection of His sent representative and not you !!! God provided a way for an imperfect person to be perfect in His sight !!! Justice has been served and Jesus paid the price !!!
The innocent dying for the guilty !!! He took the wrap for you !!! Believers are totally justified before God !!! JUST-AS-IF-I-HAD-NEVER-SINNED !!! You can take that to your heavenly bank !!! So repent and believe !!! It is easy if you can lose your pride and utter rejection of His truth !!!

Because the wages (price) of sin is death. God is a just King and cannot let sin go unpunished. In order for sin to go unpunished God would have to compromise which he cannot do because God is the final authority to compromise would mean he is an unjust King. God doesn't want to punish people (which is why you have a choice to either go to heaven or hell in the first place) so he traded our blood with the blood of an animal so the wage was paid (also it served as a covenant) and then eventually through sacrificing himself all wages were paid then on. If anything it shows me God loves us very much even though we break his heart daily.
BTW sin is another way of saying "disobedience to God."

Maybe us 'christians' have jumped the gun with assuming you are talking about us? :)

If not, then your question is very relevant to world events and what happening around us in terms of satanic acts. There are many religions practising blood sacrifices including human sacrifice in most suburbs of every village, town and city in the world on a monthly basis!

Religion can be defined loosely as "man's attempt to please his god". Since proper Christians obey God's every Word we do God's bidding, not our own. Then you should know that proper Christianity is not a religion.

If your question was aimed at us, then you should also know that the first and last proper Christian blood sacrifice, as pointed out by many responding to your question, was more than 2000 years ago. This was in fulfillment of God's Word in terms of prophecy that turned out to accurate to the year and event despite being made thousands of years beforehand.

Like more than 300 prophecies that form groups of events that came, would come and even happen in the 20th century.

God's Word always gets fulfilled, on time and in the way He says it will be done, including the set of prophecies foretelling of the items to be achieved by the birth and death of my lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Whats more important to me is that you have missed all of this - why dont you know like the rest of us what's happening around you in a very highly visible manner?

Remember that 'every knee shall bow' to Jesus!

We serve a mighty God!

God Himself initiated the practice for the purpose of covering the knowledge that sin brought.
Genesis 3:21

God is not the inferior one.
Mankind is.

Okay, God is Holy... The source of Holiness.
Adam and Eve were perfect and holy as they were made in God's image and likeness...

When they sinning they condemned us to sin and death...

God does not want this for us... So He bought back perfection and holiness for us...

Perfect life can only be bought with perfect life...

None of Adam's offspring could compensate for Adam's loss... But Christ's Life could being of divine origin was perfect. That is why Jesus is called the ransom sacrifice...

Blood represents life... And Jesus was obedient to death and remained perfect until death, and thus could present that perfect human record in our behalf... Thus granting us access to everlasting life...

If you don't believe me "READ THE BIBLE."

It is all there in plain language...

Journey Well...

The Jews entered into a covenant with God, if they broke the smallest part of the law, they would be punished, handed over to the gentiles, killed, enslaved, etc. A marriage covenant is broken if either the husband or wife dies, therefore, God or Israel had to die. God assumed human nature and took upon himself all the curses of Deut. 28 and of Adam's sin in order to free Israel and all of humanity from the curse of sin and of the law. By his resurrection, humanity is redeemed and the Church is married to her bride-The Christ. God bless

I am so glad you are qualified to judge the mind of God.

My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,' says the Lord.
'For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
