i live in a community were its pretty populated by christians. i have nothing against christianity or any other religion and perfer not even to get involved in any way, but a lot of times i feel like im being hunted by the christians around me. my house gets egged frequently and spray painted with words like "satanist, sinner, etc" why are some christians like this?

I have genuine concern that my Christian neighbor would butcher me with a screwdriver if that folklore book didn't threaten him with a 'lake of fire'.

They shall do what they have been conditioned to do but why are you not a part of the community?Surely,all community activities can't be religious and there has to be some scope for you to take part and contribute.It may also reduce their aggression against you.We atheists don't believe in God but are neither anti Good or anti Godly people. Ours' is a conceptual differentiation and not a social disagreement or anything more.Please rethink and give it a try.

They arent operating in love! I dont know you from Sam but I try to include in my prayers every night that people who do not know God and Jesus, will have something happen to them so they will get to know them and become saved. These people are not good representatives of Christ! When I first saw the post, I thought you meant that Christians were constantly on you about being saved and I was going to answer "Because we care about you and love you and want you to become part of our eternal family"...shame on whoever these people are---Just beacuse you dont believe, I cant hate you and treat you poorly---My FATHER wouldnt appreciate that much---Id be embarassing him...

I am a Christian and I really do not care what you decide, you'll find out the truth as we all will, I would make sure you have proof of no God though because if there is, your in trouble!
Plus many ignorant Athiest in this forum and I do not apreciate the dumb comments and mocking a man who died so I may have Eternal life, you don't believe it, fine! That doesn't mean it's NOT true!

Because some people are like that. It has nothing to do with the religion at all. It happens with atheists, jews, muslims... pretty much everybody..

Because they're intolerant, ignorant fanatics..... I feel for you. People should be able to respect others, whatever their beliefs may be. Have you considered moving? I wouldn't want to live among such freaks.........

the people that do that to you are too wrapped up in their own little world to venture forth and learn something. no one is making them change their beliefs, just to become less ignorant.
