without... I study history as a hobby, and all I've seen is that organized religion is an impediment to understanding. It brings people together, but it's usually just to hate someone else, or at least ostracize them.

Oh, and you can also thank the roman catholic church for four crusades, burning millions at the stake for disagreeing with the roman catholic church, and the inquisition. Barbarism indeed.

No offense, but a rather subjective question since there are 85,000 recorded "Religions" blanketing the planet and population.

Would any single Morality, or suggestion of a God, or a "Heaven" be any less or more valid than another?

There are times when ignorance is bliss. Might everyone who follows a faith based system, NOT be moral or have a "faith" in something, without an organization, or committee, directing them?

Certainly not meaning any offense to anyone, "Religion" can be viewed as a "Comfort Zone". It's pretty obvious that most of us acquire OUR systems through Osmosis, Parents, etc.

The "Comfort Zone" we are either born into, or asscimilate, is usually explored, nurtured, hopefully sustains and fulfills us, BUT,,, what if that "ZONE" ceases to do that for us? Would it not make sense to seek another "Comfort Zone"?

i would have to say without because of the evidence of their existence: wars, money laundering, control, wars, false prophecy (lying), money control, etc. you get the picture. At the same time its sad that that is my answer. If you take this into effect: #1.something one believes in and follows devotedly; a point or matter of ethics or conscience; #2 a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons or sects(these two definitions taken from Dictionary.com when looking up "religion") These are basically good things!!!!! But look at what organized religion has done with these :(

It depends on the religion. The earth is better off without blind faith, violent dogmas, sectarianism, and ignorance. But that doesn't have to be what religion is about.

You can thank the Roman Catholic Church for saving western civilization when the Roman Empire fell.

Without God, man turns to barbarism very quickly--->abortion.
