Why does God choose people like Paul who were disobeying God while many people seek God and cannot find him?

Will certain people be unable to be saved even if they try hard to seek God? because it sure does seem like it

I have read on this board and others that Reform converts are either not Jewish at all or they are. On Mt Sinai they accepted the law that God gave them, not Rabbi court, no dip in the Mikveh, so why can't a non-Jew do that and be accepted rather than the whole process?

1 Samuel, chapter 15, verse 3: "Go now and put Amalek to the sword, putting to the curse all they have, without mercy: put to death every man and woman, every child and baby at the breast, every ox and sheep, camel and ***."

God orders the destruction of an entire city, including children and even breastfeeding babies.

Hosea, chapter 13, verse 16 (chapter 14, verse 1 in some translations): "Samaria will be made waste, for she has gone against her God: they will be cut down by the sword, their little children will be broken on the rocks, their women who are with child will be cut open."

Numbers, chapter 31, verses 17-18: "So now put every male child to death, and every woman who has had sex relations with a man. But all the female children who have had no sex relations with men, you may keep for yourselves."

Isiah chapter 13, verse 16: "Their young children will be broken up before their eyes; their goods will be taken away, and their wives made the property of others."

Personnally, I consider myself a sceptical atheist.

An agnostic is a person who cannot decide whether they believe in God or not and has not made decision about their belief.
An atheist is a person who believes there is no God.
A Sceptic is a person who believes that we can never KNOW anything with certainty.

To say I am agnostic because I cannot KNOW there is no God is incorrect. It is like fairies at the bottom of the garden: I cannot PROVE there are no invisible fairies there, but I do not believe in them. This makes me a sceptical (because I admit that I do not KNOW FOR CERTAIN) a-fairyist (person who doesn't believe in fairies.

In this sense I am no more agnostic about my belief in God as I am about my belief in fairies. So I class myself as an atheist. I strongly believe there is no God, but I cannot disprove it. This doesn't make me agnostic, it makes me a sceptic.

Has this cleared aything up, or changed the way anybody thinks about their own beliefs?

The Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger or Tasmanian Wolf) has peaked my interest for quite some time. One of my favorite animals. Allegedly extinct, the Thylacine is a marsupial with a backwards facing pouch (like the Tasmanian Devil), that resembles a wolf, can open its mouth amazingly wide, and has the stripes of a tiger. It is said that the Thylacine is the "perfect example" of convergent evolution. I pose a question as to the origin of this animal if evolution were 100% fact.

I would be highly interested in hearing anything anyone knows about the astral plane. (Would prefer non-sarcastic replys, thanks.) I find it to be a very engaging topic. I am just curious as to what the level of belief in it is among the masses. Does lucid dreaming cause one to enter the astral plane? I've heard a lot of varying opinion here. Thanks in advance!

Please don't give me the answer that compare your biological father and God. Your father is not benevolent, omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent.

Something else , please.
