Everytime I see St.Peter's basilica, I wonder how much money it takes to maintain the Vatican City for a year. Is there any statistics that show the budget?

...in what ways do you think the other candidates would try to use that candidates atheism against him or her? Or do you not think that it would be an issue at all?

Just curious about how people see this issue.

2 "No one born of a forbidden union may enter the assembly of the LORD. Even to the tenth generation, none of his descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD."

It talks about Judah, a messianic figure who lived about 75 BCE, who's own writing is found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. It also talks about what Judah, Jesus (if he existed), and men like Jim Jones and David Koresh have in common. Has anyone read it?

A judge in the US (Roy Moore) desperately tried to sneak the Ten Commandments into a monument, at night, in 2001. (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy_Moore).
Why are people like him enslaved to the old testament if Jesus came to abolish Moses's law? I mean, either we should stone to death our own children (Deuteronomy 21) and all the other bizarre OT passages, or not.
It seems to me that the Ten Commandments should be relevant to Jews, not Christians.
Did I miss something?

When Joan of Arc was 19 years old, the church bishops condemned her to death by fire, and she was tied to a post and burned alive. She cried out in pain and terror as the flames climbed up her body.

Why did God allow such a horrible thing to happen?

Is it true that Joseph and Mary were married? If so, then why was she a virgin, and it is said to be the Immaculate Conception? I'm not asking to be incindiery; I'm a Christian and have heard the story many times, but never thought about the virgin part for some reason. Was this explained - why she was still a virgin? Or were they not really married, but people thought that she sinned and that's why they left (that part about them fleeing, or rather, why, is always left out).

I know that we all sin....

But I believe there is a difference between sinning and being sinful.

How are ways you stop yourself from sinning..

If God is perfect and never wrong, how come the Angels he made rebelled against him?
Does this mean that God created them wrong?
And does that then mean that God is capable of making errors?
If Forgiveness is at the heart of Christianity, why did God kill all humans except for Noah and his family when they displeased him?
Is God as good and benificent as we are dicatated to?
Or is he a fascist dictator?
